This is a ridiculous talk Mr. Rotimi Amaechi cannot even win an election in his own state(Rivers) . Mr. Wike would wipe his ass, and It would be the greatest mistake for APC to present Amaechi or Pastor Osinbajo as their presidential candidate as it would be a TKO for Atiku (PDP). I cannot see Mr. Amaechi wining the South South votes, he cannot win the West and Buhari's 10 million votes would not carry him over the hump, moreover Buhari's poor performance must have dwindle his so called 10 million Votes. There are 2 ways to become a party flag bearer. It is either you are imposed like Shagari (by the party godfathers), like Obasanjo (during his first term, or supported by Yar Adua SDP- being led then by Atiku) or you have the party structures( which comes with years of placing loyalist in strategic positions in the party. When you raise people up, there will come a time when you ask for pay back. Amaechi or Osinbajo does not have such structure on the ground. They are relying on Buhari to nominate them or anoint them as his successor, this would not work. Buhari has no political credit at this time and it is time that we consign him to history and move on. Tinubu is being vilified because he made some forced and unforced errors through the years, but this guy is an accountant like Abiola, may not be like Awolowo but he is brilliant enough to rule Nigeria. He rose from the depth of poverty to the pinnacle of power by harnessing human resources around him. It is time for Tinubu to be President of Nigeria NOT as a personal ambition but as a leader that has something to offer to the country. I hope you have acquired enough wealth and it is time to serve your country.
