How strikers do their things depends on formation and the amount of chances created for the strikers. Tammy has played more games than Osimhen and gets other players involved in attacks unlike Osimhen because Tammy has a strike partner and an attacking midfielder or false striker behind him.
I got your point wella code man....but are you saying Osimehn in Napoli is always isolating when it comes to attacks build up.

Osimehn professional career goals 47 goals while Tammy 89 goals, are you saying Osimehn has not find the right coach to maximize his potentials.

Yes even in the S.E, Osimehn is always isolating when it comes to attacks build up that's why he is usually offside, he stays around the last defender or the defense line too often but in the last match against Roma he was dropping deeper than the last defender but not to midfield and was more involved in the build up and wasn't offside often...

he has found the right coaches since his move to Chaleroi,..

Moses Simon missed a big chance vs Ghana in the first leg nobody is talking about Simon not scoring and not creating chances, nobody is also talking about Chukwueze, Aribo, Dennis not scoring... like Its only Osimhen that will attack, win tackles and defend...

but when it comes to the S.E you want Osimhen to turn to superman...

Sadiq and Awoniyi missed clear chances.
Peeps here have already talked about these players you listed and everybody agreed they played poorly, but if osimhen name is mentioned you and your fellow osimhen fanboys will start comparing him with other players.

Moses simon missed a big chance- yes he played badly
Osimhen missed chances- according to you it wasn't his fault.

when Liverpool, Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid or Man City play any of their forward players can score and assist goals even their midfielders ,

Oga,are you not here where all condemned Simon Moses for that missed and Chuckwueze was berated here.

Awoniyi and Sadiq missed cleared chances, during afcon right, pls against which team.

I thought Osimehn and Tammy discourse brought up this discussion and you used Eguavoen tactical formation to support your narrative which I said it was Seria A performance.

Pls you can read back on pages after Ghana match,Eguavoen received the stick here and Osimehn was even rated best....Ikpeba criticism as a pundit on Osimehn gave people opportunities to dig more on his performance just to know may be Ikpeba was right and expectedly different views came up.

My man as at today Osimehn is our best CF so say something about his games that mighty look like criticism doesn't mean hatred but just football talk.

I personally will pick Osimhen over Abraham because I think he is better but Osimhen have not shown in anyway that he is better so far

I also don't think Osimhen is as bad as people are making him out to be, but movement is the most important attribute of a forward and he is average on this.

Even if his finishing is poor, just have world-class movement and he becomes a world beater.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by caprikon: 10:32am On Apr 21, 2022
Osimhen just like most home grown talents go to Europe with some technical and tactical deficiencies resulting from the level of coaching they got exposed to back home which hampers their growth.

Some African countries are doing a lot better than us in that aspect evidenced by the calibre of players they have produced locally compared to ours in recent years.

The last Nigerian player to come close to winning the APOTY award was Mikel in 2013. SE players hardly make the top 3 nominees or even top 5 on the continent for close to 17 years.

I like Osimhen.... he has a lot of potential, but he still has to refine certain aspects of his game before he can termed world class.

Osimhen at this point in time will bench anyone not named Haaland, Lewandowski, Benzema, Kane, or Vlahovic.

Lautaro Martinez, Andre Silva , Auba, Patrick Schick, jota, Immobile are all pornstars I guess.

The way you guys over hype this average osimhen is shocking. The same osimhen with the first touch of someone wearing rainboots?

What is this "technicality" you guys keep making noise about.

Which is exactly what Mourinho does with Abraham who has a strike partner who also drops deep then another player behind them then 4 MIDFIELDERS not 1 midfielder as was the case with Eguavoen's formation and tactics.
This made me to come in,talking about Tammy and Osimehn in seria A should be Mourinho tactics vs Spalleti tactics not Eguavoen who Osimehn played just two games under him.

I want to tell you that Mourinho is doing the needful to Tammy strength likewise Spalleti to Osimehn strength....the two have their uniqueness.

The point that Tammy is surrounded by players doing the needful and Osimehn is always isolated,is not the issue, more reason I asked you,has Osimehn not gotten the right coach and you said NO,he already got one right from Charleroi to Napoli but why emphasizing on Osimehn not getting the right formation.

Osimehn 12 goals this season is okay based on his appearances.Spalleti tactics was always to bring the best out of Osimehn.

I think the only thing Osimhen needs to be clear of Tammy is the technicality. At the moment, Tammy trumps Victor in that aspect and that is what gives him the edge. There's only so much speed and aggression can do for you (and I think Victor has more speed). A highly technical player will make up for that deficit with cerebral play.

Good technique is not a necessary attribute of a striker. Lukaku has extremely poor technique but won Inter the title.

Only Mane can rival Firmino in terms of technique among Liverpool forwards, but man is third-choice striker.

Haaland's on-the-ball technique is not half as good as Iheanacho and man is extremely clumsy but with movement alone, he is what he is today.

I have never seen Osimhen make a curved run before to beat offside trap or make a darting run when a technical footballer like Fabian Ruiz has the ball in midfield or even a blind side run.
