I crave your indulgence. This thread is sensitive. (18+)

In my opinion it's an emphatic YES !!!

Doctors should have the right to neutralise newborn babies only because they are disabled, too expensive or simply unwanted by their mothers!

why should the baby live? first addresses scenarios in which parents are unaware their child is disabled until after it is born.

To bring up such children might be an unbearable burden on the family and on society as a whole…

The ethicists are also in favour of the infanticide of a healthy baby when the woman’s circumstances have changed and she no longer has the time, money or energy to care for it.

'If a baby, because of it's physical disabilities, is seen as being "incompatible with life" then we need to let life and death take its course.

Becoming agents of death, though fundamentally changes doctor's role as healer and physician, and it also has massive repercussions on society's conscience, shifting what is understood to be morally and socially unacceptable to become acceptable.

undecided , sometimes they proof read your thoughts before you post, it is not your stomach , your job is to attend to patience and give them the best advice , even. people born with down syndrome the doctors ask first before they attempt abortion, people born with disability doesn't make them less human, my opinion

the only way a doctor has the right to do so is if MOTHER WANTS HIM TO DO IT.... a doctor cannot go against a mother's wishes to have that child, and terminate the pregnancy against her will.... IMPOSSIBLE, that would be a crime!!!

if the child has very severe medical condition...that's not manageable in the country or outrageously expensive...then with the consent of the parents...it could be possible...but the question is what do people see as very severe condition...ONE SHOULD BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU IGORANTLY BREAK THE LAW..

LET ME USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAY ABORTION IS A CRIME OFFENSE AND COULD ATTRACT AS MUCH AS 14YEARS JAIL TERM.... ABORTION IS ONLY ALLOWED IF IT'S DONE TO SAVE THE MOTHER.....so many people don't know this... though it's not related to what the op is saying...but it's worth knowing...seek what Nigerian law says before doing sometimes

Children especially the once with sickle cell anaemia should be terminated at the very infant stage of the pregnancy.

They don't deserve too be born and start suffering.

My opinion though

You are lucky and you will continue to grow old and Excel in life .

Pls do not mk the mistake of marrying an AS .

No child deserve to suffer from what the parent could have avoided.

Even if he kills the baby by the mothers wishes he will go to prison oo...a child can only be terminated under the law that the baby is still early months old

every country has different law regarding abortion...some country even allow termination in the 9th month (if there is something seriously wrong with the foetus).
