Brilliant move from Asisat Oshoala We want to see this Brilliant Asisat for the Superfalcons again https://www.facebook.com/518084644901071/posts/5254350687941086/ |

It's becoming increasingly ridiculous playing the Barcelona team. That team is just phenomenal. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 7:26pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
BTW Oshoala just missed 2 one on one chances. She really needs to work on her finishing. Get run by her though |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by carbonado(m): 7:39pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
lovewins:...that is why i will prefer her at the wing and not a top striker. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 7:43pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
carbonado:She has to learn how to chip balls. Our second goal by Ifeoma against Ivorycoast in Abuja was a difficult chance but chipped into the net. |

Asisat missed 2 one on one , i don't know if her finishing can get better |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by carbonado(m): 7:54pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
GeneralDae:yes she has too,i remember that goal, and that is why i say that Ify Onumonu is more clinical that Oshoala in front of goal, i strongly believe ify will have atleast a goal from those 2 chances, the first one Asisat hit the ball directly at the keeper, the second attempt she missed, is similar to the one ify scored against ivory coast. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 8:30pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
carbonado:Ify Onumonu in Barca would be phenomenal. |

isan:This is her first game back |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 9:38pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:The comment section of the livestream was riddled with Barcelona femine fans who expressed their displeasure at Oshoala cause she "misses too many chances". This was even before they brought her in. I think it's a fair assessment really. Many of us know that to be true, it doesn't in anyway diminish the fact that oshoola is a great player. Hoping she improves in this really. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by codemaniacs: 10:08pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Doesn't matter.. She needs to learn how to lob the keeper. She also needs to learn how to do feints or fake shots when she's one on one. She also needs to learn how to push the ball towards her right side or left side when she's one on one. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:31pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
lovewins:A player missed 2 months because of injury, of course she was going to be rusty that's common sense |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:41pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
codemaniacs:Even with all these things u claim she doesn't know, she still stands a chance of finishing the season as top scorer in her league. The greatest finishers make wrong decisions at times. Let her get back into things, I am sure she will be better in the second leg. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 11:41pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:The comments have nothing to do with her performance today. Like I mentioned earlier the feedbacks were based on her performance prior to her being injured, I then opined that it's a fair assessment for anyone who has followed Oshoala for a while. She needs to improve quite all right, it doesn't take away the fact that she's perhaps the greatest African footballer of her time. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:53pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
lovewins:She has 19 goals in 16 league matches how is that talk fair? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 11:58pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:That's strawman argument bro. 2 things can be right at the same time and it's only fair of we don't mix them up Oshoala is a great striker as evidenced my her performance over the years. All my submissions so far noted that. Oshoala also misses a lot of chances and that is true. Playing in a team live Barcelona is a big plus for her on my opinion as she'll have the luxury of having many chances to score from. |

That may have been the first time Barcelona have ever beaten Wolfsburg but there was such a gulf in class on display at the Camp Nou. But for Schult in the German club’s goal it might have been ten. Barcelona are a winning machine, and that record crowd has been watching a vintage display from an all-time great team. The final looks like their destiny, even when there’s a second leg to come.

Asisat Oshoala is very quick and it takes some desperate defending to stop her. All she needs right now is to be more Clinical. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 12:25am On Apr 23, 2022 |
lovewins:That is usually the way it works. Players who score loads of goals miss loads of chances. Salah leads the EPL in goals and missed chances. Lewandowski is the same in the Bundesliga. |

I actually like the idea of Oshoala operating from the wings. |

The return of Asisat Oshoala. IMO she did great for a player making a return after 2 months. More to come surely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5onwDyvGt8 |

BascoVanVeli:I wished she had scored one of those one-on-one chances.. I still see her wining the League golden boot cause Barcelona will most likely feed her with the balls so that she can get those goals as they have already won the league... 3 game's left though Imagine she was out for two good months and she was only surpassed by just a goal... Imagine if she didn't injure before... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:15am On Apr 23, 2022 |
Barcelona Femenino next three League games.. And there's no way Asisat Oshoala won't get those goals against this teams, I remembered last season when Hermosa was 2nd in the top Scoring Log, we all thought Esther was already the winner of the golden boot but Boooooom Hermaso Scored 3goals in their Last League game... Asisat Oshoala still have the chances 100% 05/05/22 Barcelona - Sevilla 07/05/22 Rayo Vallecano - Barcelona 14/05/22 Barcelona - Atlético Madrid |

Schemerkhiz:hopefully she doesn't get injured again for a while.. S.F should have special training for her and some other players that are getting injured often so that she doesn't get injured while on international duty... the S.F trainer that let her get injured should be changed and a personal physiotherapist should attend to her while she's with the S.F... |

Otu commences the season with an assist, a goal, and the player of the match SuperFalcons of Nigeria Midfielder, Regina Otu scored her first goal of the season for Belarus Women’s League side, Minsk FK on Friday. The former Rivers Angels player scored the first goal of the game for Minsk FK in the fourth minute as her team defeated Dnipro Mogilev 4-0. She also had a hand in one of the goals scored by her teammates ending the game with a goal and an assist. Her superb performance earned her the Player of the match prize. Minsk FK occupies the second position on the league table with a point behind league leaders, Zorka-BDU after five games. Regina Otu and Minsk FK will hope to win the league this time around after failing to clinch the title last season with a UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification also in sight

Club or Country this trio are the best in Midfield... To me (#12) Patri is the best Defensive Midfielder in the World followed by Germany Lena Oberdorf. Which pair would be the possible best trio for the Superfalcons in Midfield going to the AWCON and World Cup proper ![]() • Rita Chikwelu • Ngozi Okobi • Halimatu Ayinde • Rasheedat Ajibade • Regina Otu • Christy Ucheibe •Tony Payne • Amanda Mbadi • Peace Efih • Onyi Echegini • Joy Bokiri

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:51pm On Apr 23, 2022 |
If people actually watched football they'd know Halimatu Ayinde doesn't actually play DM, but because they see her chasing the ball and tackling and assume she does, just goes to show people haven't got a clue about football. it's more because of the energy she has they just play her flat CM at Eskilstuna United. The fact she pops up with the odd goal and also finds herself near the opposition box quite alot is an instant giveaway she isnt a DM She's simply a CENTRAL/BOX-TO-BOX MIDFIELDER, She covers more ground and destroys all over the pitch..
