Just checking on you, any response from IRCC yet?
nothing yet o, considering deferring my admission again to September, have you heard anything concerning yours?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 10:30am On Apr 23, 2022
You can just go ahead and book a new medical exam, the panel physician will send the result directly to IRCC. You can also upload the medical sheet via webform.

Ideally, IRCC should send you a reminder.

Lani84:
Good day friends! I’m so sorry for all the questions sad

Please if medicals will expire before travelling, but after passport has been submitted, what is the process for renewal of the medicals?

Thank you so much for your patience with us <3

Davidganna10:
Good day every one..
Canada IRCC anouced yesterday that the will be starting ITA draws by first week of July, I believe this should be a good news because most PR hopeful decided to use the study route thereby, heaping large workload on Nairobi

Hence, I believe Nairobi will start processing study visa within the stipulated time and not the 5-6 months processing time we see currently.

Secondly, for those who may find it difficult getting the enormous POF required for study visa, you can start now to evaluate your credentials and write the necessary exams.
These are the monetary requirements needed:
IELTS: 95k
TEF(optional, mostly for those above 35years or have less than three years experience) : 240k
Additional certificate (BCS): 120k
WES Evaluation: 112k
PCC: 10k
French tutor fees(optional):180k
Medicals: 58k
Total: 818k less than Conestoga tuition deposit.

Post ITA
Application fees: 500k
POF:4.4m
You can ask your friends and family to gift you this.

Lastly, for those still waiting, I pray you get a favourable decision.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info bro. Would like to get more info about this. Please you can drop your email. Thanks.

Don't include any information you have already included in your educational details. For example, if you finished your BSc two months ago, then your employment details (unemployed) start from the following month.

Trailblazer21:

Thank you for your response sir. However I’ve tried everything, I have updated work/activity from 2011 till date with no gaps but still same error message. I have been a student all my life, I just finished my BSC and I’m going for my masters immediately. So I chose unemployed from 2011 till date but it’s still same error. Don’t know what to do now.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 10:38am On Apr 23, 2022
You can just Google your school, the address and postal code will come up.

But if you already have an accommodation, you can as well Google that address, you will see the postal code too.

emmalextemtop:
Hello!

It may also depend on network carrier, but I know a friend whose Infinix phone didn't work.

Samsung works in general.

You may as well wait till you get to Canada and buy a phone on Facebook marketplace; depends on you.

Creativeowos:

Nawa o. Honestly have never heard of this before, but am glad i got to know it on this platform. Please can you list out phones that will work in Canada. Because i use infinix, once I get my ppr i will have to change my phone before traveling

This thing is not hard, just relax and follow the instructions.
Last 10 years is 2012 - 2022. If you were in school within that 10 year period and you've already stated that when filling the education period, you will not include it in the working period.

Better still, list what you've been doing from 2012 - 2022 here, lemme explain how you'll fix them in.

Not necessarily, it depends. People resell new phones on Marketplace (at a considerably lower price).

Ermm, I have always used Dell. Folks here will have other suggestions. But you need to look at your budget, courses you will take at school, what you plan to do with the laptop, etc., to choose a laptop configuration and brand.

I graduated from university 2021 and I am currently doing my nysc. How should I include those in the employment status? Lol
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 11:47am On Apr 23, 2022
Pretty easy. Assuming you finished your BSc in May 2021 and started NYSC in August 2021.

Then your employment status starts from June 2021. From June to July, put unemployed.

From August to date, put your nysc job experience.

Male roommate wanted

Hello guys

Flatmate needed from May 1st in Saint John, New Brunswick (Uptown apartment, 9 minutes walk to MBA campus and close to most amenities)
One room is available and goes for $355/month plus utilities(excluding power and internet). This should be good for a student or new immigrant just landing and need a cost-effective place for the next 3 to 6 months (given the way prices of houses have consistently been on the rise).

Interested, hola(PM)!

Still available

You will need to check the details you filled and the dates.

The dates has to align properly. Any gap in between has to be accounted for.

Also for the address and letter of invitation, how do I go about that part since we all plan going together

The last "unemployed" after school should be till present, since that's your current status. Don't select 2022/04 as the ending date. You'll see a box that ask if that's your present situation or something, the moment you tick that box, you won't need to select 2022/04
