When you have two quality Center Backs and a good Defensive Midfielder, it allows you to get your full backs higher in wide areas.

carbonado:Surely a bad day, I felt frustrated for her yesterday cause the Chances kept coming but she Couldn't bury them... |

BascoVanVeli:It happens to every striker at one point or the other.. But still one of the best striker we have right now.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 1:24pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:Of course it does but once Oshoala is involved the noise is louder |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 1:45pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Yes the Ovation should be louder because she's the Superfalcons star player and one of the best in the world... |

Is Onome Ebi playing active club football? There's rarely club related update on her socials lately, I also noticed she flew out of Nigeria for the Canada friendly. The info on Wikipedia shows she last signed for a Chinese second division club, is she still there? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 2:51pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:That's not ovation that is ridiculous criticism. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 3:15pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Well we can also say Ifeoma should have done better yesterday. Every Nigerian player can be criticized because we know their potential and we hold them to a high standard. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 4:35pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:I will take it as an Ovation, as it stands if Asisat Oshoala and Ifeoma Onumonu makes a mistake now, Oshoala own will be loudest being the fact that she's the biggest, as the greatest female footballer in Africa, the most popular and one of the best in the World all eyes will definitely being on her, the pressure isn't easy ooo Everyone around is expecting her to perform better than the others.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 4:41pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
lovewins:She's currently unattached, I think she had a deal with a Turkish Club Atasehir Belediyesispor which didn't go through before the game against CIV... Wished she had signed for them, the Turkish league is currently one of the hottest and most improved Women Football league in Europe right now, a lot of investment have been put after the FA mandated all the big Clubs like Galatasaray, Fernabache and co must own a club... |

Schemerkhiz:Same reason Messi and Ronaldo are easily criticized when they have just one bad day. It's more difficult to stay at the top and maintain the pressure of being at the top than to get there. |

GeneralDae:Exactly what BascoVanVeli need to spot right now |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 5:21pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
At this point Regina Otu need to move to a more Competitive League, The Belarusian league is no longer what it used to be, The Pay and Standard is now very poor.. I will prefer to see her in the Turkish league instead or move to the tougher Spanish, French, Swedish or Norwagain side!

Schemerkhiz:Why should the pressure come from the inside U never saw Barcelona fans criticize Messi for petty things. A player returns from injury and the only thing people can say is she is not clinical. That's nonsense. If u know she is great, act like she is great. Lewandowski and Salah have missed the most chances in their leagues but u don't see their fans overblowing every single miss. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 5:36pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
GeneralDae:Can u mention one chance missed by Ronaldo or Messi that anyone talked about? Messi had a glorious opportunity to win the world cup but people only talk about Higuain till this day. |

Schemerkhiz:Appreciate the feedback. It's important she sorts this out. At her age she needs not be rusty. She needs to be actively involved. |

Schemerkhiz:All the long talk is unnecessary. She should join a local club ASAP. Edo Queens pay good enough money, she should join them. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bigzigg(m): 10:18pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:How is Turkish League better? And you mean that Belarusian League is worse than it used to be? Where's the proof?... Also, Spanish and French Leagues are tough enough, but, you see that Swedish league? I think it's seriously deteriorated. For instance, our players, such as Ikidi, Okobi, Anam Imo, despite featuring constantly for their clubs, are not improving massively, even Sweden's best players now prefer playing abroad... Anyway, Swedish and Norwegian Leagues are good enough for Regina Otu to further polish her skills. |

#UWCL: Wendy Renard marked her 100th Champions League appearance with a goal from the penalty spot as Lyon emerged winners in the first leg of their semifinal clash with PSG. It was an epic game that lived to its expectations as both teams gave it their all in an encounter that produced five goals at the Groupma Stadium, where hosts Lyon claimed a 3-2 win. It was their sixth meeting in Europe in the space of eight seasons as the French rivalry between the two clubs added another dimension, with a place in the final up for up grabs. FT: Lyon 3-2 PSG 0-1 Marie-Antoinette Katoto ‘3 1-1 Wendy Renard ‘23 (penalty) 2-1 Catarina Macário ‘33 3-1 Catarina Marâcio ‘50 3-2 Paulina Dudek ‘58 (penalty)

isan:Yes, Edo Queens, Rivers Angel, Bayelsa Queens are one of the best paying Women Football Club in Nigeria.. But there's no way they will be willing to pay Onome Ebi at least $3000 monthly aside bonuses and the rest... |
