It is true. Women are birthers, home makers, nurturers. It is blueprinted into them since their birth. What we see in Afghan is not the effect of positive masculinity but oppression stemmed from religious dogma. If you have time you could check the book "King, Warrior, Magician, Lover" . It is about the masculine archetypes. One interesting archetype there is the KING. He represents the leadership qualities in all men. He is the father who runs his household well, he is the governor or the president who rules his people with wisdom and nobility. The king fertilizes and blesses the earth(on which some cultures symbolise as the feminine). He is the master, first the master of himself. When the king slacks in his duties or adapts the ways of a Tyrant (the shadow king), it shows on his domain, there would be chaos, suffering and disrespect. But when a king is strong, wise and noble the people and the land flourishes.
As men, I believe that the king energy is in all of us, though it is dominant in some than in others. We must first have mastery over ourselves before we can exert mastery over the society. I have seen homes and businesses go haywire because the leader was irresponsible. What we see in the west and Afghan are negative versions of the king archetype. The former is too weak to exert control, while the latter is brutal and rules with an iron fist.

I totally agree with you bro. My reference to the Taliban was more an attempt to contrast the outcomes (female behavior) than to tout them as an example of desirable positive masculinity. I personally have utmost disdain for both ends of the spectrum described. Forced obedience is as repulsive as disobedience in my world.
@ the second boldened, you just summarized my exact take over the months as it pertains to true masculinity. No man who is yet to master his own self can exert meaningful mastery over a woman, a home or society. It's a crass exercise in futility.

Who can educate us solely on MGTOW? Or open a thread specifically for it. As usual everyone will have input I'm not well versed in it but I prefer MGTOW to all this nonsense!
