Ah! Some vehicles are just not meant for Uber o. Low fuel consumption, low maintenance and very sound vehicle is key in this business.

ES350...
Na like say you dey use Benz E class abi S class sef do Uber...

But someone said es300 is abit fuel friendly. I thought it would be same with es350.

Good morning pilots. PLS I NEED YOUR ADVICE.
My Toyota Camry 2003 was giving a rattling noise that just goes away like 6 seconds after you start the car. I took it to mechanic he suggested I change the camshaft which I did and the noise stopped. Unfortunately, as we were test driving the car after replacing the camshaft, we noticed that the oil light came up on the dashboard. My heart skipped.
We took back the car shop, we have confirmed the oil switch is still OK, we have opened the sump and discovered their sludge despite I just changed oil and oil filter while replacing the campshaft, nevertheless, we cleaned the sump and also the sucker. Yet the oil was still showing. The mechanic now suggested we change the oil pump. We changed oil pump, but the oil light Still shows and the sound of the engine has changed and not ok as before. Now the mechanic is saying I need to overhaul the engine, that the sludge might have caused the crankshaft to be low and worn out making the oil not to pump well hence the oil light showing on the dash board. He now suggested I overhaul the engine for repair OR I go for a borale engine. AM NOT CONVINCED AND SURE ABOUT WHAT DECISION AND ACTION TO TAKE NOW. AM JUST AN ORDINARY UBER DRIVER. PLEASE I NEED YOUR OPINIONS. THANKS

The direct tokunbo of that car goes for 2.7 - 2.9m. So why do a loan of 2.8 and give to someone for the same car?

You people should normalize scanning your car when you discover a fault. Don't just be letting Kasim be doing guess work for you. You'll end up wasting money and not solving the problem.. imagine all the things you already changed and no solution.

Buy small OBD II Scanner and keep in your car. Scan for fault codes when you have issues and you'll get real time info on what's wrong with your car and save yourself from stress. It's simple. If there's anything you don't understand do research yourself or ask people who are knowledgeable...

If you need Kasim to change anything for you, you'd have been well informed and you can tell him what to do not just all that guess work they do. The thing annoys me a lot cos most of them have little knowledge about how modern cars work and they end up causing more damage than solving problems.

Abeg!

i already scanned the car (honda city 07)
I got a code p1353

My point is na audio 50GB that's why it doesn't last 2weeks.

Exactly, those data are light data same thing as the one that moniker posted that brought about this subject.

What they do is convert 1k into 10k for you then they tell you that 10k is 10Gb... Within 1hr 10Gb is finish.

Scum!

The best is subscribe the normal once like that 2.5k for 12Gb then see the difference, its more expensive but the data itself is heavy doesnt get exhusted like that.

Hhmm. I won’t do it as a full time work. It’s something I will do only days I’m off from work.

Go ahead, it's your car.
But avoid short trips, they are fuel and time wasters. Also if the road is free maintain 80km/hr speed, if u fly na so ur fuel go dey fly cos of your type of car.

To start with that yiur mecho is not even experience enough else he would have got the problem of the car right from the very start, i suggest you stay away from him.

If overhauling is all that recommend I'd suggested you change the engine instead because overhauling won't last beyond 6months and afterwards you would still have to change the engine so why not do it now.

Good luck

If he's driving himself he will make profit. That car shares parts with a V6 Camry of the same year. People use the Camry for Bolt why not a Lexus?

I will not be surprised if the parts are cheaper compared to a corolla.

As for fuel, if 5k fuel grosses 20k on a Corolla, it will gross 15k on the Lexus.

Is ur check engine light on?
If yes, scan the car just to make sure mechanic coupled ur timing back properly.
Then open d sump again and check d net in the oil intake pipe. If it's clogged then u need to open up the engine and wash everything like pots, plates and spoons cos sludge has taken over.

Yes please. The check engine light is on and the scan results only detected faulty oxygen sensor and nothing about the oil light. Also the sump has been opened and sludges cleaned out, together with the oil inlet sucker. Yet the oil light still comes on.

Someone said he watches a lot of videos yet you said its audio data.

Even if he watches videos 24hrs a day for 14days, Real 50GB will not finish.
Except he uses his phone as a modem or access point and shares his data with other people like a cyber cafe or office then he should say so.

All these networks will give big big data that worth nothing. Just like getting X5 and X8 your airtime when u recharge for calls. Its audio credit cos it finishes faster than normal.

That's why I said open the sump again, remove and observe the oil intake pipe and d net on the surface, if it's clean or clogged again.

Am assuming the oil pump u just got is a good one.
Also If u reused the oil u put before opening the sump the first time, u should change the oil filter.
