I still think he can improve though. Perhaps the players around him (if they're top to tier) can rub off on him

Dude I spend a lot of time in coaching.

And from what I have seen if you haven't developed technical ability, sublime skill with outstanding first touch before you are 16/17 it's very infact almost impossible to develop after that.

I have seen this in academies across Europe.

Three weeks ago I was in Gran Canaria looking at the Santander La Liga Promises tournament. And even at U13 level you can see a lot of promise.

That's why Liverpool could pay £1.8 million for a 14 year old Raheem from QPR.

He can definitely improve on positional play , anticipation and timing as well as control his temper.

You see that goal Ronaldo just scored against Chelsea, that's down to elite movement not the pass.

The movement was so fluid, he had enough time to control and shoot.

Osimhen is explosive, but intelligent runs, he is very lacking.

So if Bruno decides not to pass Ronaldo the ball, will he still score? Then the quality of the pass was 10/10 so I don't even know what u are talking about

Osimhen makes an even better run here @ 1:45. He makes those runs all day and doesn't get service, the coach complained about it.

Does Haaland score long rangers?

And Osimhen isn't too right footed as you claim. The heat maps of his games say otherwise

Lmao. Haaland scores long rangers every day of the week, stop this.

Osimhen is too right footed. His last left footed goal was ages ago, I think at the end of last season and it was very close to goal.

The bias shows heavily.

If that keeper wasn't high on cheap weed, that would have been a routine save.

When we say long rangers, we mean top bins. Balls that were rocketed into the top/mid corners from difficult angles at a distance from goal. It could be a curler, it could be a rocket.

You should watch Harry Kane and then with shame retract that statement.

Who are the best finishers this season?

Benzema: Most big chances wasted. La Liga.

Lewandowski: Most big chances wasted. Bundesliga.

Harry kane: 2nd most big chances wasted, 1 less chance missed than Salah. EPL.

Mbappe: Most big chances wasted. Ligue 1.

Yakubu. One of Nigeria's best finisher of all time missed the most clear-cut chance in our history. So because of that, I wouldn't sign him?

1. The more chances you'll get, the more you will miss.

2. The quality or form of the goalkeeper.

3. Overthinking.

4. Nerves

Son Heung-min, who I think is the best finisher in the world, has missed 11 clear-cut chances in the Premier League alone.

Movement as an ability will get you guilt-edge chances no matter the quality of the opponent, but finishing is determined by concentration which is a mental attribute.

If you're signing players based on concentration, then I don't think a player like Van Dijk and Mane who spend half of the time in training choreographing celebrations should be bought.

Absolutely , first thing is to be true to yourself.

When Victor O was in the French League he made more sprints than anyone else in the entire league.

Because that's his main attribute pace then you add the aggression garnished with aerial ability. In addition I think he has a relentless work ethic, the guy is non stop.

If you never learn from your mistakes and work on your flaws, you will never get to the top. Guys like Ronaldo are very open to criticism because once they see something in their game that is not perfect, they work for hours to perfect it.

I hope Osimhen is not like you guys and keeps improving on his game instead of thinking he has arrived.

If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. Guys like Haaland and Mbappe have so much more in their locker, its not even a competition.

There is so much Osimhen needs to work on in his game. So much.

If doesn't pay rent anywhere. Zlatan scored a similar goal against Bournemouth and nobody called that keeper a drugy.

A long ranger is a shot from distance, however the ball goes in won't take the goal off the scoreboard.

It's a good thing, you had to fetch a free-kick routine, brother.

Now watch this video below, Ronaldo makes up to 10 behind-the-defender runs from open play in 70 mins against Newcastle. Majority ignored.
Today he scored Chelsea from one of those runs.

https://mobile.twitter.com/legasusmedia/status/1475752152257630208

Every striker knows that they have to make runs up to 5 times in a game for one pass to get to him.

You're saying Osimhen is being ignored, where are the runs?

Osimhen is not technically astute and that's almost impossible to teach once you pass 16/17.

He doesn't have the technicality for that kind of sublime touch.

Give Osimhen De Bruyne's technique, without movement he will still struggle.

Hope you realise movement is an off-the-ball attribute.

Is Osimhen better than Lukaku? What do you mean it's easier to displace Lukaku than Osimhen? Stocked in striking department that could only score a penalty in 180 minutes against a poor Ghana side.

I don't mean based on quality, I mean based on bias.

Osimhen is a local boy who epitomizes the typical Nigerian grass to grace story. He is Nigeria's golden child.

There's no way they drop a marketable commodity like him for a privileged mixed guy who grew up in the Benelux and whose father is white.

But this same Belgium at one point let go of Lukaku for Batshuayi.

I don't mean we should drop Osimhen either but Dessers could serve as one of his decent backups rather than wishing he goes to Belgium.
At the nation's cup no SE player scored more than once throughout the tournament despite chances created especially in the first three games.

You are bringing strikers of 20 years ago.

All modern world class strikers score from anywhere they can get a sight at goal. Osimhen 's left foot is dead, he can't curl with his right. This affects his movement because when he gets the ball, he tends to drift to the right wing reducing his chances of scoring because he is too right footed rather than going inside the defender to set up a one-on-one with his left foot. This is just one of many places in his game that is glaringly poor for a CF, and I am surprised it has not been coached out of him yet.
how many goals Lewandoski dey score outside the box? Lukaku? Several strikers are one footed it’s not that deep. I’m not saying he shouldn’t improve, especially on his movement in the box but talks about outside the box curlers/screamers, being two footed are not major for a number 9
