High Rise doesn't just come because they want to beautify a city. It is driven by a city's income of its populace,in effect the kind of businesses situated there and the number of such businesses. The few skyscrapers for Eko Atlantic never even full ,talkless of building such in poorer places like Aba and Onitsha. The building go just remain empty and fall of on its own due to lack of income from consumers to run the place. Do you know the running cost of such big buildings? These things have a lot of economics tied to it,not just emotions or what you think should be. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria is not business friendly, in a good society companies build such houses and sale to individuals through mortgage or other applicable means.. I once had a landlord then, who owns two flats in a 30 storey building, he pays instalmentally as I remit monthly rent.. I dare not fail to remit my rent each month otherwise penalties ll be attracted .. But here in naija, to pay common bank loan na war not to talk of Individual companies .. 3 Likes |

Lol , something Europeans themselves hate aka the Russian design. Blocky high rise buildings are only necessary in densely populated parts. What you need is proper planning, serenity which can be achieved with a proper eco system. Descent nicely planned shopping areas. 2 Likes |

Why should Nigerian cities look like american or western cities? Nigeria is an African country, cities in Nigeria should look like a Nigerian city and an African city. You people have serious inferiority complex and don't know it 3 Likes |
