Good afternoon house. I just received my official offer letter and it was stated that I apply for a work visa along with my study visa. How do I go about this?
Is there a thread where I can read about the information.

Dear Positiveme2020
Please go ahead and submit so the processing of your application can begin.

Med Request we have seen on the thread mostly happen after 2month- 3months after submission of application so doing an upfront has kind of saved you time.

Wow, so am lucky kind off. Thank you so much.

Hello guys am new here but I have been following this thread for a while.
I applied on the 25th of January
I got medical request on the 16th of March
And medical passed on the 25th of March
My eligibility review started more than a month ago. I got a reply from one of the numerous email on Wednesday. Please does this mean I should have some hope because my school will resume on the 19th of May.
Thanks guys

You will see the option while filling the visa application online. Make sure you have a copy of the letter for the co-op from the school as you will be required to upload it.

Mad for what exactly.? It's being ungrateful and it's very bad. The least anyone who's using this platform to get info regarding their Canadian study journey could do, is to drop their timeline, in order to help others... You'd most likely do the same if/when you get your PPR.

Hello everyone, I am a second time applicant and in my first application using the old portal, my medical was updated. So, I recently applied using the new portal and all my data has been transferred to the new application except medical (which is expiring in the next 3 months). Am I to book a new medical appointment or upload the e medical via web form I used in the old portal?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teezkid: 5:21pm On Apr 29, 2022
If IRCC asks you for medicals, can you just go to Qlife to do it without booking any appointments?

Oh okay, I get your point now, you sounded as if it's no big deal initially, that's the reason for my presumption. It's all good, make we dey drop our PPR and timelines abeg. It will end in praise!

@Frankrobbn1.....what will be your advice for applicants (married with other economic ties) in that situation to do?

Frankrobbn1:

I wouldn't advice a married man with kids to submit a "deed of gift" in his application. This would raise concerns that you're not sufficiently well-established in your home country and the officer will question your intention of wanting to study in Canada when you've to seek for external bodies/relatives to help you fund your account. It further increases doubts that your family will not be well catered for in your absence.

It will end in praise

Good day house, please I want my transcript from University of Nigeria Nsukka, can someone help me please. How do I go about it?
Thanks in advance

Hello,

I don't know whether your question has been attended to or not, but I'll give you an idea on how to go about it. When you visit UNN's website, go to the Alumni page and sign up with your Reg number. After signing up, you'd see a menu from where you can request for your transcript. It's a very simple process to follow.

Best of luck!

Hello TonyDeanalyst

On a norms, Visa officers always have issues with 3rd party sponsors except the said sponsor shows more than enough commitment to the study and expenses of the Applicant..

Now a 3rd party sponsor, sponsoring you and your family wont fly to be honest with you.. For a 3rd party sponsor, sponsoring 5 members of a family, is it that the sponsor doesn't have dependents of his own or what? Has the said sponsor, sponsored you and your family members on anything in the past?

If you still insist on using a 3rd party sponsor, I will advise you apply alone and let the said sponsor convince the Visa Officer that he is indeed ready to show his total commitment to your studies during your stay In Canada..

So apply alone and use your other family members as home ties that will force your return to your home country.. When you get to Canada, you can then apply for spousal permit for your Spouse and Visiting Visa for your Kids...

Peace

@makano @lekiboboe @justmellow @ominni @frankrobon1 @scott99tish @Anon and other gurus. Please I need your sincere advice, I got a PhD admission at Dalhousie university and planning with my spouse and three kids. I am applying with a third party sponsor, my questions:
1. Is it adequate if my sponsor gift me around 12m which is enough to pay my first year tuition and our living expenses.
2. With adding my physical assets valuation document also count.
3. Can I ask my Dad to do deed of gifts to transfer some of his assets to me
4. Can also add my late mum gratuity papers worth 6m as POF.
5. With it be acceptable if I ask my employer (a Fed. College of Education) to provide a study leave for me to provide my home tie.
6. Can I also use my assets and deed of gifts to prove home tie.
7. Is it compulsory to pay tuition before application.
Thanks as I await from professional responses
