They have nearly the whole of eastern Ukraine under control but you think he's losing? Well we'll see...

Eastern Ukraine is where you have the separatists who are loyal to Russia, those who wanted to have their own freedom. What do you expect? Have you asked yourself why russia lost in other regions held by Ukraine and why they ran awsy from Kyiv?

They don't.

Yes they are losing because the Russian military are confused and due to the traditional links between Russia and Ukraine and the fact that many Russians have Ukrainian blood in them and vice versa this sharing relatives, the Russians as the aggressors are demoralized.

Ukraine is fighting for her land so are not demoralized. They are fighting to live while Russia is just fighting based on a confused set of orders

Russia is just about similar to the USA. They may not have enslaved black people, but they also have interests and the means to enforce those interests, including bombing any nation if it serves their interests. And they have occupied and run other nations too.

Better not support the US or Russia. Or any 'big nation' Nations have interests, not friendships, and are not there to help yer up.

Russia barely talks about nuclear weapons. It talks about being able to deal with NATO if they dare get into Ukraine and then NATO starts screaming about nuclear weapons.

Everyone including Putin and Russians is afraid of a nuclear fallout. Not only NATO.

Or you think Russia will deploy nuclear bomb and no one will hit him back with the same or higher magnitudes?

The only reason NATO is not fighting Russia is to not Escalate things to the point of nuclear war not because they are afraid of it but because if it ever get to that, humans including you saying all these trash will be wiped out.

If they are weak as shit as claimed, then why was the Pentagon spokesman whining and crying in his press conference yesterday? Why is the US and its lapdogs rushing weapons to Ukraine?

They are weak as shit, but they went into Syria and got the job done.

They are weak as shit, but they are getting the job done in Ukraine with territory larger than the entire UK already liberated with the Ukrainians surrendering left and right.

I sincerely wonder how this type of news get to the Frontpage.

If you believe the Guardian, then I have a bridge to sell you in Lagos.

The UK establishment right down to its media arm is just an absolute disgrace.

It is absolutely clear that the Russians are advancing on all fronts in the South and Eastern parts of Ukraine and the Russians (who are winning) have never threatened or even hinted at using Nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

We remember from records that the country who has used Nuclear weapons is the United States and when they were getting their asses kicked in Korea and Vietnam also threatened to use same.

The Russian position has always been consistent, which is no one will win a Nuclear war.

Perhaps @Righteousness1 @GardenofGod @HolinessForever or whatever moniker you go by these days should try and note this.

N.B. All this articles and opinion pieces from the UK media has two purposes:

1. To whip up public sentiment against the Russians by painting them in a "James Bond Villian" kind of light and thus win over public opinion for the Ukrainians.

2. To try and apply some kind of psychological pressure on the Russians to stop them from prosecuting the Special operation to the fullest.

Only the gullible will fall for their tricks.

Putin made a costly mistake. He envisioned invasion of Ukraine being as it was in the olden days, when soviet army can enter one of their unions unchallenged. Maybe his invasion of Crimea emboldened him.

The bashing Russia got and is still getting from Ukraine is unprecedented, they didn't suffer this much of a loss in their invasion of Afghanistan and war in Chechen. The worst for them is that it has exposed their fabled military might to the world. As much as they have the numbers, every other thing is empty.

A renowned super power that is threatening nuke, even when it has not even been attacked. It's funny when some people here still assume superpowers to Putin. Their future disappointment will be like that of a child that realised that Santa Claus is simply a fable.
am sure China wase disappointed for a Great Power status to fumble this much.

It would have been suicidal and grave mistake for China to rely on them against any major powers in battle. China was definitely embarrassed.

They have declared a full all out war after loosing thousands of soldiers and artillery’s?

What else they got!

Russias military is an overhyped old Soviet Union scrap yard!

Imagine struggling with a nation you share borders with, coupled with fact that he used months to build up along Ukrainian boarders.

This is absolute failure. Russia has a nation has been exposed. Can’t you see how Putin is quick to mention nuclear weapons! It’s knows military is a waste!

Putin cannot even for once boast about his Naval or Airforce fleets, any little thing, Nuclear weapon!

I think you're wrong, and basically going with the Western media narratives.
Propaganda is perhaps the most effective tool in war.
Former US VP Dick Cheney once said that the main reason the US lost the Vietnam War was because the US government lost the media and Propaganda.
Demonizing and demoralizing your enemy has been time-tested and proven very effective.
The US and Russia attitudes to war notably different.
In Iraq for example, the US went all out to destroy everything in the shortest possible time as possible, because they were very sensitive to troop losses and political fall-out. As such, Iraq civilian casualties were fondly called collateral damage, removing the human part out it, so that the world feels none or little sympathy for them. The media was proactively embedded with the troops, to control the narratives and the Propaganda. At the end, they made the war seem like a fun video game.
In the case of Russia vs Ukraine, the opposites are the case.
Firstly, Russia didn't go to Ukraine to destroy the country.
They went in there to cripple Ukraine's military capabilities, force Zelensky into exile, and install a Russia- friendly ally.
Obviously, they miscalculated. That is a fact.
But, I still think that Russia is taking a soft hand at Ukraine, simply because Russia sees Ukraine the way a strict parent sees a recalcitrant child. Not out to annihilate, but to spank heavily.
In an all out war, I don't think that any NATO country can face Russia. A NATO vs Russia scenario is ruled because nuclear war would ensue.

The idea that Ukraine is winning and that Russia is disorganized and confused is just the usual Propaganda we expected from the media during times like this.
