Eastern Ukraine is where you have the separatists who are loyal to Russia, those who wanted to have their own freedom. What do you expect? Have you asked yourself why russia lost in other regions held by Ukraine and why they ran awsy from Kyiv?
Mumu you think they wanted to take Kyiv, within one week, you children don't know shit about war, they have turned ukraine into a landlocked country dividing it into two with Kyiv afraid of attack anytime and don't have much to spare to defend eastern ukraine. hasn't mauripol falling, now Kherson is under their control with kharkiv following next and Mumu like you still don't get it

They don't.

Yes they are losing because the Russian military are confused and due to the traditional links between Russia and Ukraine and the fact that many Russians have Ukrainian blood in them and vice versa this sharing relatives, the Russians as the aggressors are demoralized.

Ukraine is fighting for her land so are not demoralized. They are fighting to live while Russia is just fighting based on a confused set of orders
Uncle wey Mumu over 2000marines surrendered in mauripol, weren't they fighting for Thier lives

Russia hasn't even declared a full all-out war in Ukraine and yet, NATO is fearful of a nuclear war.

Russia barely talks about nuclear weapons. It talks about being able to deal with NATO if they dare get into Ukraine and then NATO starts screaming about nuclear weapons.

You must have been sleeping. Putin and Russian states tv including Putin's ministers have been shouting nuclear upandan since the war started.

Russia will win, but it would be a pyrrhic victory, and would leave them with room for a lot of self examination.

At the end, Russia is just as bad as the USA. Empire builders all of them. I hope this war teaches Nairalanders that the US, Russia, China, UK, Saudi, Iran, and all of them are not your friends, they all have interests, and if bombing Nigeria with bombs supports their interest they will do it, and with relish.

We all better wake up.

We should wake up and do what exactly??

They have declared a full all out war after loosing thousands of soldiers and artillery’s?

What else they got!

Russias military is an overhyped old Soviet Union scrap yard!

Imagine struggling with a nation you share borders with, coupled with fact that he used months to build up along Ukrainian boarders.

This is absolute failure. Russia has a nation has been exposed. Can’t you see how Putin is quick to mention nuclear weapons! It’s knows military is a waste!

Putin cannot even for once boat with his Naval or Airforce fleets, any little thing, Nuclear weapon!

Western propaganda only appeals to braindead fellas.....so Russia is deep inside Ukraine and taking over towns and cities even changing local currencies to ruble but in the mind of the west that is a loss grin

Sometimes you can't blame them though they haven't won a war in a long time. I guess Afghanistan is what a win looks to them

You think?

They have nearly the whole of eastern Ukraine under control but you think they're losing? Well we'll see...

I tire for Western propaganda. Eastern Ukraine which is his target had been achieved. Also they tend to forget Russia is not waging an all out war like America did in Iraq. This is a tactical incursion geared towards minimising civilian casualties. If the man is losing where are the celebrations and evidence of recovered territory from Ukraine. Every now and then they show us a picture of 1 destroyed tank and use it to depict the destruction of the entire Russian army. Rubbish.

I always wonder what Putin was thinking when he declared war against innocent Ukraine exercising her rights as a sovereign state..

He should have committed to study the history and asked the right questions from his dead mentor Adolf Hitler, and take a cue from there..

Historically, evil (no matter how solid and carefully planned) has never succeeded over good! So it won't happen now..

Now, there's already a problem in his own camp, and if he's not careful, he will be killed by his own people..

I noticed that when Russia suffers a major blow, their sympathisers will tag it "west propaganda", when Ukraine suffers huge loss, these same cretins say the west is trying to exaggerate and escalate things..

No matter how hard Kremlin tries, it will definitely go down for sure...
When did Putin declared war on Ukraine? You dey use your head so?

Russia has completely destroyed Ukraine almost and the US are still lying to people... we have being experiencing high energy bills and the UK is still lying to us that we don't need russian gas...

I used to heat my house weekly with £20 gas and to cook before this Ukrainian war now it is costing me £120 a week to heat my house and to cook and it is not even winter! In the winter it could cost double this amount.. and the EU and UK have still not found another solution other than Russian gas, Germany are still buying Russian gas as of today while claiming to have sanctioned Russia and Putin, who is fooling who? I need Russian gas! The EU and UK needs Russian gas! Boris liar can keep telling the world that the UK doesn't need russian gas, it is not like it will or is affecting him and his families he can afford to heat his house with our tax money..

Some western countries are still buying Russian gas as we speak their arguments are that they will not pay in Russian Rubles which they will eventually be forced to pay in when russia cuts their gas supplies...

Russia still have not cut their gas supplies to the EU despite the EU's criticisms or so called sanctions on Russia.. who is fooling who? again.. grin i don't care about the racist Ukrainians or Russians they can all destroy themselves as long as i can buy cheap Russian gas to heat my house.

slowpoke, they captured the industrial and most important city mauripol, captured kharson, now in almost Total control of kharkiv and hundreds of towns there, they've flattened the whole of Ukraine into Syria, they control Thier airspace, destroyed all Thier millitary production capacity including Antonov plane manufactures, over 6,000 Ukrainian forces have surrendered, they've cut the country into two, they control most of Eastern Ukraine ,all this against a country that has military support from 40 western countries including the USA

How about the hungry hunters they call soldiers? Are those tricks too?

In 4 weeks, The Russian defense ministry admitted it has lost over a thousand soldiers while Ukrainian defence pegged at 4 thousand, is that a trick too?

It’s an overhyped shithole! Outside nuclear weapon, it got ABSOLUTE NOTHING!

What spectacular thing have you seen from Russia in the war?

Common US made Javelins is what’s giving their tanks problems.

And you will always know a weakling in warfare, they always so quick to boast with their ultimate power and Putin does that.

Don't mind.
I think , unfortunately, most people are so wired into the western media narrative of how things are run or are supposed to run, so they measure everything based on western media narratives.

Time and time again have shown that the west, especially American media, know so little about Russia, their history, they way they think and the way they do their owns things. Russia is achieving and will definitely achieve everything they want to achieve in Ukraine. Yes, they might have grossly miscalculated the resistance, but they have been steady in getting their military objectives.

Incidentally even the Russian press confirmed this figure cheesy

They leaked the minutes of their meeting with the current Russian general overseeing the war and their figures for Russian deaths and wounded were within more or less 200 of Ukrainian figures.

They later deleted the post and claimed their website was hacked grin
