The Danger Of Marrying Into Nigeria Families I will bow my head in salute if any one on this forum can tell me any good thing we africans inherited from our ancestors. Just one thing we inherit from our fore-father's that has made our life to be infinitely richer. Every good thing we are enjoying today in our life comes from the Caucasian European men who pass it down to us and their children. And all the things passed down to us by our forefathers has only made our lives miserable. Afriki. Afriki. Afriki. If only you can be delivered from your blindness and drunkenness. If only Africans will understand that marriage is a choice between two consenting adult, and has nothing to do with their traditional belief and practices, then it would be much more better. THE STORY I was heading to my hometown on a Sunday afternoon and sat between a woman and her family member talking. She began to brag and boast. He must pay the pride price. He must do the traditional right. From their conversation, I could see her bitterness and traditional mindset. What happened? A young man saw a young woman and both of them fell in love with each other and bond them self in harmony. They became one body and soul. In their union, they bigeth three kids together. Over the course of time, the man decide it was now the time for him to pay the dowry and do the traditional marriage of his belove woman according to their traditional belief. He raised money and set a date and time as planned by both and families. When it was time for them to carry out their marriage plans, the woman instantly fell sick and died. She has three kids for the man before her tragic end. The family of the woman said that, the man must pay the dowry and do the traditional right on the dead woman before their daughter can be buried. The family of the dead woman started fighting the man. A brother of the dead woman went ahead and slap the man for refusing to compromised with their demand. They started to persecute the man for not paying the bride price of their daughter before bedding her, which brought forth three children. ➧They never thought about the well being of the kids. ➧They never thought about what the man will go through to raise those beautiful kids alone. ➧They never thought about the help they can render the young widower over his loss. They where persecuting him and made his life a living hell. They even asked him to buy a land. He instantly became their enemy even though he knows nothing about the tragic death of their daughter. I was not there when it happened, but from their intense conversation, I could feel and understand the extreme pain and regret of the young man. That very moment, I saw more reasons why it is very dangerous to be yoke with Nigeria women and their families. I became very irritated to the point where I had to engage both of them and question their ignorance and foolishness. I asked the woman a question. Why do you people want the man to pay bride price on the dead woman? She boldly said it was their tradition I asked her another question, she quickly answered me which is good. I asked her another question that jolted her, she was silent and was unable to say a word. I asked her another question, she fold her arms and stare at me in silent. I looked at the other family member, she too was confused and couldn't say a word either. Both of them became quiet, then I blurt out to the woman, do you know what my father did? She asked me in anticipation, what did your father do? I said to her, the mistake of my father has hunt his children, and many are still fighting to get out. She became alert with a waken countenance. I became so irritated with their stupidity and their ignorance which is a bondage that will lead them to other form of bondage. My question and irritation instantly convey to them that, their family are drunk, stupid and blind. I looked at both of them, they where still silent. As I was about to take my leave, I turn to the woman with a frown face and blurted out, the best thing God can do for me is to give me a western Godly woman They stare at me in silent as I walk away 4 Likes 2 Shares |

NOTE; there are three danger for a man to marry into an Africa - Nigeria families, but I only narate one above⤴.Their tradition has made them so backward and blind - leading them more into multiple bondage. ➬It is their tradition for them to celebrate Idols worship festivals and also thesame idol worshipers will celebrate christian festivals. ➬It is their tradition to kill many cows to happilly celebrate burial ceremony. ➬It is their tradition to do burial ceremony at night till dawn. ➬It is their tradition for children to hold remembrance ceremony on the dead ➬It is their tradition for a senior son to buy and sacrifice goat when burying the dead ➬It is their tradition to tear the face of their infant kids (tribal marks). ➬It is their tradition to foolishly cirmcumsize their female children. ➬It is their tradition for a man to marry many wives (poligamy) ➬It is their tradition for a senior son to inherit the youngest wife of his late father. ➬It is their tradition for a man to pay massive bride price (dowry) with traditional ceremony, then add western white wedding to make their tradition marriage complete. ➬It is their tradition to persecute a woman to take an oath by drinking water of a dead corpse just to prove her innocent on her dead husband ➬It is their tradition for a man to pay bride price (dowry) with traditional right on a dead corpse of a woman. Nigerians - are nothing but bunch of hypocrite. I spit out. (Tufeer) I am outta here 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Southernigbo: I note there are three reasons why it is dangerous to be married into Nigeria families, but I only narrate one because I did not want to go deeper. Idolatry/Witchcraft is the number one reasons why it is dangerous. Be careful on where you deep your feet into. |

I can no longer endure living with Nigerians anymore. For a man to be asked to pay the dowry and marry a dead corpse and Nigerians sees nothing wrong in it, is not what I am capable of understanding. |
