I don't think it's bleaching in most cases.

The darkness is due to the excess of skin that is around the joints. The extra skin in this area (which slightly bunches up when joints are extended) is necessary to allow for movement of the joints, so you might see darkness in the elbows, knees, knuckles, toes, heels and anklebone. There is no permanent way to lighten these areas. Because of this continual movement, the removal of some of the darkness in this area is only temporary.

Another thing that contributes to the darkening of the skin is the frequent friction and pressure placed on these areas. Knocking on doors with our knuckles, wearing poorly fitting shoes that rub against our heels, or flip flops that make us grip our toes, plus kneeling and crawling on our knees, resting elbows on hard desks, and more, causes trauma to the skin leading to discoloration. In addition, the body also responds to damage by thickening the skin in the area it perceives as being under attack.

Naturally light skin women don’t have it, only people that are trying to lighten/bleach have it.

I beg to differ sir.... Everybody has this dark pigment around the area where 2 bones meet. Even the Whites and Asia are not excluded.

They only deceive themselves by bleaching this area.

You're getting something wrong sir. I did not dispute the factor of bleaching. Yes, using cheap bleaching creams can cause the skin around the aforementioned place to get darker but the skin around those places are dark naturally. The skin gets darker when cheap chemicals are used because they are damaged or either protecting themselves.

For the Whites, it appears reddish or light brown. The Asians have an almost elastic skin due to their lightweight so constant bleaching of this areas make them look unblemished.

Apart from Africans... The Asians and black American are one of the heaviest users of bleaching creams.

But I won't entertain you further with my thoughts.

You explained it perfectly. Many black and dark brown people have even blacker spots on their knees, elbows and other parts.

Yes, that's very true. Very very true. The body parts they have hidden are very light in color. But still those knees are dark and hand knuckles dark too. I'm one of them.
