40km is actually about 30mins by car on an averagely motorable road.It's like from Lagos to Ijebu-Ode which is the next town out of Lagos,which is quite near to any country's border for one at war with it's neighbour.Infact 100km strike or opposite army presence gives any country cause for serious concern.
It's quite clear to any discerning mind that the Russians are taking a pounding, eventhough the Ukrainians are undeniably taking heavy losses too.
