How can’t you call this particular area a downtrodden area in Enugu today? Do you know how much a plot of land goes in this particular location today? …. This area isn’t local like before again oo.
Any residential area is always costly everywhere. If you know Abakpa very well, you will understand what am talking about. It will develop to bigger houses with time.

People will be happy but I see it as a death road.

Advanced countries don't build such roads without protection.

That construction is not worthy to be a highway nor a street road.

If that's a highway why random entrance and exit point?

Anybody can easily walk across the highway.
Any vehicle can enter the highway from anypoint.

Even Keke and ogada.

If it's a street road why no bumps to slow vehicles down at least.

In Europe vehicles don't exit highways onless on major junction.

Hardly you see someone walking by the highway side.

There's nothing like random road check points onless you're flagged by highway patrol.

Was the bridge really necessary at that spot?

This half baked bread is the only project this h’ypopotamus can boast off.

A flyover that connects single lane both on the entrance and the exit point.

Nonsense project

One tenure, one bridge. Igbos are cursed with animals as leaders.

Before the South East can develop, Engr. Dave Nweze Umahi needs to be appointed Sole Administrator, Colonial Head and Master of the entire Igboland.
do you even travel to other parts of the country at all, especially the south-east ?

Umahi has completed more projects than all Anambra, Abia and Enugu Governors put together. This one called ugwuanyi is actually worse than the failure called Ikpeazu.

No much people in Enugu?

How myopic can someone ever be.

For a road that is yet to be commissioned and put to use?

Prior to the flyover, you spend an average of 5 hours or more on that route especially on weekends.

Road channels were created to ease traffic due to the ongoing road construction.

Motorists coming from the metropolis can pile through Emene-Nkwubor-Abakpa Nike (Nike lake resort) route

Motorists from trans-ekulu and other areas could go through umuchigbo-Nike depending on your preference.

Next time think thoroughly before commenting so you don't expose your myopism and ignorance to the world

Of course but currently, this particular T-junction is no more a downtrodden neighborhood anymore.

Has anyone zoomed these pictures to see a completed project by the most useless and incompetent governor in Nigeria. Enugu is a backward state.
If you're not a fool you will know that those are parked vehicles using that place as a temporal park until the bridge is completed

The guy cited brown roofs at the aforementioned comment. So i have to state it clear why it is so. The place showing brown roofs is not really T junction but inside Abakpa.

A flyover is a good infrastructure to have in a city, but i'm getting appalled by seeing almost all governors celebrating flyovers as if it was a major infrastructure that will transform the lives of the citizens of the state

Something Wike is building everywhere in the streets of Port Harcourt, he even built two across my roof
Flyovers are built where and when they are needed.
That wike or anybody or state has 100 flyovers doesn't mean every state should build 100.
It's not a competition. Grow up

This is the most useless substandard project in Nigeria. Flyover to no where.
Oga there has been a lock on that spot since the construction began and road side mechanics took it over as there workshop. Soon those grid cars will be cleared off to give access to the drive through road.
