"If Jesus is God, then why did He say that the Father was greater than He?"
First of all. It is essential you understand why it is that Jesus Christ is God. undecided

As written in Scripture, Jesus Christ is God, but nowhere in Scripture are we informed that God is Jesus Christ though. There is a reason for this and Jesus Christ Himself explained it to His followers. undecided

In Scripture we learn of God the following
▪︎ God is God of Wrath
▪︎ God is God of Laws
▪︎ God is Good/Righteous
▪︎ God is Faithful
▪︎ God is Love
▪︎ God is True
▪︎ God is Life
.....
And of Jesus Christ, we are informed by Him that He is
▪︎ God's Truth
▪︎ God's Life
▪︎ God's Law (one of many) aka The Way

So, as Jesus Christ explained, He is made from some of the same essence that is God hence He indeed is God. However, since Jesus Christ doesn't have all of the essence of God, God isn't Jesus Christ. undecided

So, to answer your questions.....

1. Jesus Christ is God but God isn't Jesus Christ means indeed that Jesus Christ does not know all that God knows, just as He, Jesus Christ, said. undecided

2. Again, Jesus Christ is God but God isn't Jesus Christ meaning that He, Jesus Christ, as He told you, prays to His Father, the one whose Will He, Jesus Christ, obeys. undecided

God. The creator of the universe
Jesus Christ. The saviour ,son of God

Both are different but they are in one.

Jesus Christ is not God but the Son of God. If you say he is God then who spoke from heaven during his baptism according to the Bible saying "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. "

Objection: The Father Is "Greater" Than Jesus:

Some other cults and false religions object that because Jesus said the Father is "greater" than Him (John 14:28), this must mean Jesus is a lesser God. Biblically, however, Jesus is equal with the Father in His divine nature (John 10:30). He was positionally lower than the Father from the standpoint of His becoming a servant by taking on human likeness (Philippians 2:6-11). Positionally, then, the Father was "greater" than Jesus. -AIG

this is because when Jesus came to earth he left his divinity in heaven ,that is why the scripture says Hebrew 2:7 " says he was made a little lower than the angels" it was a translation error the word is angelion which refers to God the Father ,son and the holy spirit.
this Is why Jesus prayed to the Father because he was given no special treatment so on judgement day he will judge you accurately because he came to earth as a human,so you have no escuse
Jesus is God,the holy spirit is God and The Father is God but there is different responsibilities and it looks like God the Father is greater but they are one

Jesus said that the father is greater than him in the sense that he reports to him and not the other way round in just the way subordinates report to superiors. But it does not make him less God in the same way you are not less a man or human because you report to your superior.

Notice before he said, My Father is greater than I, he had said, I go unto the Father.

So, it is in the light of the fact that he is subject to the father that he said My father is greater than I. And not in the light of the essence of the nature of God he has.

The fullness of God dwells in Jesus. He is not a lesser God. He is fully God and also reports to his Father who is his God. He is in the same class as God.

If Jesus is not a "lesser" God, why are there places Jesus called God "my God" many times, whereas there's no single place God called Jesus (or anybody) "my God"? I know you guys wished those places were not in the Bible.

It does not make the master more human than the apprentice.

And it does not make the apprentice the same human as the master, there are 2 separate humans here, distinct to one another, that’s why we can refer to one as master and one as apprentice, 2 different MEN, one is superior and inferior.

To answer your question in the most simple way, Physically/Positionally God is greater than Jesus Christ but Mystically God is inside of Christ and Christ is inside of God so they are inseperable, making them to be one/equal.

This topic should be:
"If Jesus is God,then why did He say that the God his Father was greater than He & the Scriptures say the God is head of Christ ?"

Jesus Christ NEVER at anytime claimed God had dual nature, John 4:24.
"God is a spirit ", said Jesus Christ .
God is 3 triune spirits, according to OLAADEGBU & his fellow polytheists.

Nicene Creed is wishy-washy GIBBERISH fit for the incinerator. cheesy

You keep mixing my words up. Note I am not talking about mystic word or anything. I am talking about the relationship between God and Jesus Christ. Let me use this analogy to clarify you but if you don't get it this last time, I don't think I can help you any further. Here we go. For instance let's let's use President Buhari and his son as an example they are two different entities right? One is the father while the other is the son. That is how you have God and Jesus, one the father while one the son. This was what I meant by physically/ Positionally the father is greater that the son. Then I said but "Mystically" they are the same. Now let me use this exampl to clarify what I mean by Mystically. If President Buhari is invited to an occasion and he couldn't go and he sends his son to go represent him, in that ocassion his son's presence there is as though the president is there himself. When the organizers wants to relate to him in that ocassions, they will say, M"President" ........... Even though he is being represented . So Mystically in that occassion, the president is inside the representative even though he can't be seen, and everything said in that occassion by the representative is taken as the word of the president even though is not the president saying it physically, so at that moment, in that occassion, the president and his representative are one and equal at that moment . So Mystically God is inside Christ and Christ is inside God, so as far as they are inside each other mystically, they are equal unless God removes himself from Jesus which will never happen. Where as the president being equal with his representative is for a short period of his representation in that occassion and after the ocassions they go back to who they used to be individually, it's not so with His and Christ because their is permanent and not temporal like the president and his son. I rest my case

If Buhari sons go to an event instead of Buhari, they will announce that he was REPRESENTED by the president son, so now we have father and son, that’s 2 different people, distinct to one another. They will never call a REPRESENTATIVE the PRESIDENT.
The things they will say to the president, they can’t say it to his sons as protocols.

And Buhari son can’t say or sign anything to law without consulting his father, the president. Buhari son can even be arrested as he does not have immunity as his father, the president.

And tomorrow the same Buhari can send his daughter or minister to represent him in another event. Your analogy is flawed.

Oga try to read carefully before rushing to reply. I never said buhari's son is equally to his father, I specifically said in that particular occassion that he is representing his father, he will be accorded the same respect that would have been given to the father if he was the one that came. If they had book sharaton hotel for Buhari, that same hotel is what his son will stay, they they have reserved a gold plate to use and serve the president alone, even though he didn't come, they will still serve the representative with that same gold plate, what does this mean? It means at that point he is representing the president, he is one with the president that is why they will put him in the same hotel room reserved for the president , give him food in the same gold plate reserved only for the president because in that particular occassion he is being seen as the president even though the main person isn't present in the ocassions. Read slowly and carefully, so you can understand the point .

Even in the entourage that will follow the president son is different from the one of the President. The grandeur of the president is different from REPRESENTATIVE, They can’t accord the same respect to a REPRESENTATIVE!
And you said it yourself, he is representing the president, he is not the SAME with the president.
He is a representative! You said it yourself.
The law doesn’t recognize REPRESENTATIVE as PRESIDENT.
