I had a long term visa list B appointment at the consulate today 3rd May 2022. I presented all documents however the money transfer made has not gotten to the blocked account as at the time of the interview.

I presented the receipt of the transfer and the debit details but I was told there won't be an interview without the confirmation of the blocked account.

Fortunately, I got the confirmation details thirty minutes after leaving the Consulate, I rushed back but I was sent back by Mr Paul and told to send a mail.

Guys, how do I go about it? thank you for your inputs

This should not be a problem. I know at least two people who recently had the same issue and were rescheduled. Send and email. State clearly in your email that you were previously scheduled for and interview but were told to send an email for a reschedule, after obtaining your block account confirmation.

If yes, having had my bachelor's since 2012, will the 10 years in-between not generate questions too?

Oga, I didnt say you should hide your masters. I only suggested you should skip it for direct progression. You may only add it if you are going for a masters in a related field not the same or different field.

Example. Your B.A is Business administration. For masters, you did Masters in business administration. It wouldn't make sense to go for another MBA in Germany.

Rather you can go for Masters in Management or masters in International business. Only then can you add your previous masters certificate which is different from the new masters.

If you still decide to add it, make sure there is a reasonable explanation on why you want to go for a second masters in the same field you did masters before. They may or may not ask.

The 10 years in between has little or no inference in your application as long as there are factors that filled the gap. E.g Self Employed, Learning a skill, Working for a company.

The 10 years gap must not be academic. Just make sure you were not idle all those period. Even if you were, make sure they dont know.

Hey guys, I attended my German student visa interview 22-02-2022 and I have been waiting for 10 weeks and 2 days since I had my interview and I still haven’t gotten a mail from the embassy. Is the processing taking long because of the influx of migrants from Ukraine due to the war?.

That should be before summer semester last year.

I explained the situation to the school and took a leave of absence... So I think applying for a leave from school can help anyone cover up the 1 year waiting period.

Hello guys. Pls I need clarity. I graduated with a bachelor degree (since 2015) in political science (social science degree) with a CGPA of 3.04 on a 5 scale (2nd class lower). I plan to study masters in Social Work in Germany.
- Is my degree performance sufficient to get admission into a masters program in Germany?
- If yes, which public universities are the best for Masters in Social Work? Which ones would you recommend?
- Pls is Social Work a very high in demand skill or a very lucrative career field in Germany?

Hello everybody.
So I applied for Ausbildung visa last year April 16th (2021) and it's already a year considering the whole 1 year waiting period ( before one can get an appointment date at the embassy). And by the grace of God I got my Ausbildung contract for nursing starting October this year.

So my reason of writing is that I haven't gotten any response from the embassy regarding my appointment for an interview and my starting date is fast approaching.

Please anyone here with contact, email address on how I can reach the consulate in Lagos....in order to get an appointment date.

I am a bit confused because what was written on the visa page is German organisation financed from German PUBLIC funds.

she did not get a normal working contract job, it is an ausbildung (apprenticeship)contract that she got. Hopefully they send her an appointment date soon, she doesnt need to cancel. If she books that category you are highlighting, oga pauli will send her back.

Usually, by public funds they would mean scholarships funded by the government eg Bafög. Having a scholarship from a private company may not qualify you for category A, unless in some other cases which I'm not so sure of.
Make your own enquiries where necessary.

do you have any previous knowledge of german?if No, Writing A1 exam after within 4-6weeks of lessons will be quite difficult. Lextorah school of languages in located @ yaba, goethe institute is in VI.

i dunno how good lextorah is, but from the review i saw, they seem ok. As for the other lady, she said she attended schneider institute in ph, she applied for the ausbildung contract with B2 level of german.

Exactly, people should check ONLINE and do proper research before giving opinions. How can Ausbindung appointment be 3 weeks from appointment application date?, No please!!!

Please comrades someone said it's difficult for an applicant using sponsorship letter to be granted visa that they focus on those with blocked account
