I see comments up there and sadly, I now know why they are exempting people with Nigerian degrees. See people commenting excitedly and not even understanding what they read.

In case you missed the word "exempt", here is the last paragraph:

Read very well the part which reads the need an admission from a world recognized university

Seun please try and engage the services of smart moderators.
The article is clear, go to a top Uni, qualify for this stream of intake for UK 2 year visa. No job required etc! Is this hard to understand?
Is it that the OP is not aware that Nigerians also school in Ivy league schools? Are they no longer Nigerian graduates qualifiedfor the scheme?

The UK needs to open its doors to low skilled workers, at least those ready to pick up blue collar jobs

With Brexit, they are in short supply and employers are feeling the squeeze

Nope!

The visa route does not guarantee settlement. So after a while you have to switch to a visa that has a settlement route.

They essentially have just opened up their work force to the best in world, with no strings attached (on their part though).

This is something Nigeria has to do for her own citizens, but . . .
