Was I Wrong To Tell A Pastor These? by ntrukpum(op): 8:54pm On May 08, 2022
Dear nairalanders, a branch Pastor in one of these popular church came to woe me into his church (a new branch) located in my street. I accepted to join him with my family and friends with just these few conditions.

1. that 99% of all the tithes, offering, seed faith, vows, pledges etc should be used for charity, humanitarian and community services.

2. that if the condition above cannot be met, then we should use the church space for a lucrative business to achieve our aim of 'human development'

3. that if the above conditions (1 and 2) cannot be met, then he should shut down the place for serious business minded people to use.

brethren the pastor left with total disappointment.

See Ehnn whether you give offerings or tithe to church or not, God will still fund his work!! Churches will always have needs and God know how to meet them, the problem is that many "pastors" are not grounded in this truth hence the tendency to fear over ur refusal to give!!

You are wrong to tell a CEO/Business owner how to run what is his own business. undecided
Matter of fact, since he is just a branch manager in the enterprise, I don't see how him passing that message of yours to his boss for fear he might loose his position. undecided

The way God funds his work is to touch the hearts of people to give WILLINGLY to his work,"the heart of a king is in the hand of the lord", God is not interested in using anybody who still needs to be forced or sweettalked in order to give offering and tithes to fund his work, so if you are not willing to give freely God doesnt need you!!
