God bless them all, I know a huge number of them. The ones I know are indeed angels in human form. They are gentle, caring, self driven, loving, faithful, hardworking and lot more. Me privileged to be married to one of them [RN]. The ones I know are the inverse of what I'm reading in here. I celebrate every responsible and dedicated professional Nurse out there. Most especially, my wife. Well done...

Nothing much to say about Nigerian Nurses. There monthly take home is nothing to talk about making then to transfer aggression to innocent patients.

Kudos to the good hard working nurses

First to comment. These signify joblessness
Please don't get me started. That wickedness has absolutely nothing to go with their salaries. That behaviour is not peculiar to nurses, it is a wicked attitude you find across all sectors in Nigeria.

It is Nurse week and was told to write something about Nurse.

Me: Well, some of them can be very rude and nonchalant, especially these public hospital nurses. I remember last year when i was operated for Appendicitis, then during d Urinary Catheters, this Nurse was forcing d pipe in, i nearly gave up, i complained, she said i am still speaking English, i feel like biting d idiot but d pains wouldn't allow me, so i requested for change of hands, b4 this humble & damsel nurse slot the host in gently. After d operation, i made complaint of maltreatment i got from the idiot to the senior doctor. She was given 5days extra night duty, she came to apologized and we bcame best of frnds later. Pls don't ask me the type of frnds we became.

It's another Nurses' week celebration.Have you celebrated a Nurse today or you think they don't deserve to be celebrated.

I believe Nurses are angels in human forms sent by God to the world to help humanity. No wonder they are known for being selfless and compassionate.

What do you all think about Nurses? I would like to read from you all.

What was your best moment and worst moment with Nurses? Feel free to share.

Kindly note that Nurses are not just those who put on white in the hospitals, anybody could put on white.White uniform does not make anyone a Nurse. To be reffered to as nurse, the person must have undergone at least three years training in an institution and passed the professional Exams organized by NMCN.
So, before you drop your comments, be sure the person you had an encounter with is a registered Nurse.

[quote author=isah80 post=112699723]Thumbs up to all Nurses, it is not easy but you all are doing well, in as much as there will always be bad ones in every profession, I thank you all for the great work.

You will never understand this until you spend a little time in Hospital.

If you are a nurse in this forum, you can send me a message if there is anything available, i will let you know. It will be my little way of appreciating you guys.

Thanks.
