Hi Congratulations on your visa. Please a couple of questions, What is affidavit of return? What is the difference between affidavit of sponsor and sponsorship letter? What is reference letter from Bank? What are they saying in the letter as I have just one bank account with Zenith Bank? Is upfront medicals necessary? Thanks buchito1: |

danielak1:Hello Danielak1, Except you want to try your Luck by providing documentation as the provenance proof of the lump sum, otherwise, such an account may reduce your chances. A sponsor's bank record is expected to show historical and continuous inflows amounting to the current sitting balance. You should use a sponsor that can prove they're economically established to bear the sponsorship burden and one in which the relationship can be demonstrated. If the account has good inflows that amount to the sitting balance, the one month of inactiveness may not necessarily be an issue. However, the focus should be on how to provide explanations and documentation to adequately explain the fund's source. The VO's don't smile when assessing a bank statement with a lump sum. You should do the same when trying to salvage the situation. Best of Luck |
