Ok. Thank you. I will buy it, and hope that it is as great as people are saying. I will keep my expectations fair.
Good. But I must also inform you that someone on this forum shared a bad experience of the itec 3.5kva gen. It might just be one out of 100 but nevertheless, one can't be too careful, even though it wouldn't have swayed my decision if I had still had the chance to purchase it due to the more positive reviews I saw. U can check the link out and decide on your own if its worth the risk.

Please sir I'm currently facing a very difficult situation right now
We haven't had gen in a long time so just recently, we got one new elepaq 4.5kva. although according to engineer he said its truly 2.8kva not 4.5kva as claimed
After it was coupled, we tested it for few minutes and it worked, the next time we turned it on same day, it brought light and immediately the power went off, the next day we called the installer and he confirmed the AVR got spoilt, we changed the AVR and turned it on, same thing happened... we've changed AVR 3 times consecutively and it is a new gen so our engineer decided the gen must be having factory fault problem cos once it's turned on and we change over, the transformer becomes hot immediately and the voltage rises towards 300 instead of 220 according to the engineer even without anything else being on apart from bulb but this is a generator that was tasted at the sellers shop and it worked perfectly for several hours
So later the seller changed the engine and gave us new one but to my greatest surprise, the issue still persist
So now it's obvious the problem is from our house not the generator, maybe from connection or something that we haven't figured out yet but same connection has been in use in the past without facing issues
Please what exactly do you think is the problem here and how can we resolve that cos right now it's as if we bought new gen but can't use it
Thanks

Am here to give you any answer about fault on ur generators, and how to identify original generators.

first of all, for you to buy a generator with acclaimed 4.5kva but with actual 2.5kva tells you that it's a fake something. Anything else can be wrong with the generator.

To confirm if it's from your house, borrow another generator and use it to power your house

Ok will do as you have suggested thanks
But reason I believe it's not fake is cos our engineer confirmed it's not

Good morning wisemen, My budget is 140k. I need a gen that can power a double basket fridge and a 1hp pumping machine at the same time.

Good day all. What is the current price for elepaq 2.5 complete coil?
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by edimolu(m): 5:33pm On May 11, 2022
So I finally got the 4.5kva elepak generator. But the problem here is, it can't conveniently power the 1.5hp a.c at home. I have to switch off all the lights, virtually everything. And wen it's powered and i put on few lights the gen's circuit breaker goes off within 20 mins. And the gen would hv been unnecessarily hot including the tank.

But without the a.c being ON, the gen powers everything including the big deep freezer. It's a big house with 2 living rooms and 5bedrooms. The gen powers it all conveniently without any wahala.

So I talked to à generator engineer and he said its because the LG is an old model with a high compressor, so it requires much energy from the Gen, that if it was a new model, it will power it without hassle, cos the new model, it's compressor requires less voltage.

Pls how true is this?

Don't use the gen for the AC again, you'll get the coil burnt. Your engineer was trying to tell you about inverter AC and yes the generator will power it. Your main issue is that the generator is not 4.5 KVA as claimed, its way less , say 3 - 3.5kVA.

Thanks for your response.

So if I'm correct the gen will conveniently power only either 1.5 hp or 1hp inverters right?

Cos I don't want to make the mistake of getting an a.c only for my gen not to power it. Plus, can it power a 1hp non-inverter? Cos these a.c with inverters are fvcxckin expensive.

I really appreciate your response

Its better to invest in inverter ACs. It should carry the 1.5hp.

Which one did you buy, is it the one with tyre or one without tyre?

How much did you buy it?

Was it online purchase or physical from a store? If online kindly send the URL.

Please help answer those questions!

Gurus in the house, good morning,I use a sumec fireman key start gen, the battery ran empty , bought a new battery, it didn’t use up to 3weeks it stopped starting until I pull to start, called a technology, he said the automatic kick had issues, he changed it there was a loud grinding noise, called him again he later said the complete kick had issues which he changed, he refused buying a new one he claimed follow come works better , issues now is key starter works ,but noise of the generator has increased, could the kick starter be the cause of the noise, every thing works fine just the increase in the noise while working

Hmmm, the one without tyre. There are three variants. I will send you the details later. They all look alike but very different based on capacity and make. I almost got the inferior one if not for detailed research and a trusted seller. I got it for 145k. Physical store.
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by BIZZWEALTH: 12:09pm On May 12, 2022
Power outages are frequent in Nigeria, and a suitable inverter and battery can be priceless during such events. It can be very frustrating when you are watching your favourite program on TV, and everything suddenly goes black. With an inverter and battery, you can have uninterrupted power supply without the noise and pollution of a generator.

At least I now know that the 120k previously budgeted for this non-key model WON'T be enough.

Please will be expecting the details.

1. It has an inscription yaofeng as well as cst
2. They don't shade it like others, thus it's in carton well sealed.
3. It's heavier than others with the same size
4. When you look at the stainless plate covering the coil below you will notice it's a bit longer.
5. It's comes with the model No: SV6800. The SV6800e is the electric starter type with rollable wheels.
6. The price is 145k. I've tried asking all over Ibadan, though never went to Ogunpa. The best price is #145k, some will even want to sell higher than that. Even at Ijebu Ode, it's #150k

Good evening boss @enochgaga ur posts have been really helpful… pls I want to ask of ur opinion about some generators that I saw on jiji (I pass my neighbors) i saw then in various kinds which I want to be using for my mini footwear making business. I want to ask how if it’s advisable to buy them and besides I saw one that the seller claimed it came from Germany and it’s last price Is 45k. I will be using it for my bench grinder(shoe filing machine) and one industrial sewing machine. I don’t want to make a mistake that’s why I’m asking for ur opinion. about the gen. I will attach some pictures of the gen from Germany and one other one I saw which the seller claimed it’s the old tiger generator(I pass my neighbors). Thanks for all u do sir. I will appreciate if any guru in the house can help me on this.
