Pensions?! No pls, except you have been out of job for 4months before you can access the cash. Atleast that is what pension policy/plan says...except I am wrong.

Out of job for 4months to access 25% that's if you not up to 50 years. The rest you can access when you are 50years

Good day my people. Please I have a question.
I'm already in the UK with my wife and our kid since February.

It's our desire to bring my wife's step brother (12yr old). And my in-law already agreed to it.

What are the steps I need to follow? The necessary documents for the process.

Have you gone through legal adoption of him?
Besides why do you want to bring everyone on Student dependant Visa that is subject to conditions?
What if you were asked to leave after your study? or you think PSW is automatic?
Don't bite more than what you can chew

Hi guys,

Who has recently gotten their TB test done, could you please share the exert amount you paid in Naira?

Some said 57,800 another said 64,200. I am so unsure due to the unstable USD rate in Nigeria. Kindly share exert amount if you have recently paid for this test.

It’s 57,800. I did mine last month.

Thank you.

A quick and vital info, i called my bank to oblige Embassy abt my acct statement and they said they can't, they need my consent so i av to go to any branch to gv the consent. But why this nonsense. Is it their money or mine. So u guys to put a call to verify this. This is first bank they said they wud never gv consent of customer acct without the customer consenting to it.

From my own experience as regards if UKVI contacts bank for statement verification. After a recent refusal based on false statement of account which was not so. I visited GTBank and the bank confirmed they were truly contacted but they said it was a positive response they gave. The refusal based on fake bank statement now marvel me. My lawyer has written the bank already to clarify this issue and also give a document attesting to the authenticity of the bank statement I used so it will be added alongside other documents for administrative review.

Hello,

You have to legally adopt him, this is done through the court and it is a process. Bear in mind ,you will be terminating the rights of the natural parents to this child.

The process can be quite lengthy, you ideally should have lived physical with this child for 3months before approaching the court, the court will engage a welfare officer to determine your eligibility for instance age, marital status, finances, etc.

If and when satisfied, they can start the process of a court order, you wil need a family court lawyer for this process and it might take awhile. Do some reading on this first and see if you want to go through this process.

Please do not try to falsify a court order for legal adoption, UKVI will always go the extra mile to verify documents on sensitive cases like this.

When you have succeeded in getting the court order, then you can start the process of a child dependant visa because he is now your child.

Cheers

Hi guys! If a document is bilingual ( Japanese and English), do you still need to translate the document? The country made sure whatever was written in Japanese was also written in English.

Hello,

I'll also break it down.

UK University is no charity organisation

You have 3 options

1. Pay fees in full

2. Pay most of your fees and try to work and pay the balance

3. Defer your admission until you can afford it. UK is not running away

Hope it answers

Cheers

You’re allowed to work 20hrs a week. The minimum Pay is £9.50. Even if you get a job that pays £12 an hour,do you think you can pay your fees, rent and other expenses from it?

Great

You have narrowed it to option 2.

The minimum wage is £9.50 (although some are lucky to get a slightly higher paying job) you are allowed to work 20hrs term time.

Do a search on rent in your school location, factor in feeding and transport and see what balance you have, that is what might be left to help pay your fees.

Once you do that you can make a decision.if you search this thread you will see a discussion like this done previously

Cheers

Hi guys, I have a little question please.

I believe the primary motive of this UK stuff is to leave this country.

But I have been wondering. We are to get a year visa for this whole thing. What's the possibility of one staying in UK even after his/her course? Especially those of us going with our family.

Because he no go make sense make person come back to this country after 1 or 2 years.

Many of us are putting everything we have into this just to get a better life. Hope it worth it?

What are the chances of one staying longer even after studies?

Please I need to be enlightened.

As long as they can read the document which is translated in English already ,you don’t have to re-translate. Except you’ve submitted it and itwas rejected, I don’t really see the issue.

In July 2021, post study work visa was re-introduced.

After your studies you can apply for the visa and stay in the UK for 2years and work and if you’re lucky to get a sponsor you can get an extension or so.

If your course is for 2years,you get a 2years visa and after that, you apply for PSW visa and get an additional 2years.

You gerrit?

Duchess/justwise/mimilyrics and other gurus,

Pls is it possible to rent and pay for UK accommodation while still in Nigeria? Or how can a family go about sorting accommodation so as not to be stranded on arrival into UK. I am just thinking ahead...i intend going with my family.

Please enlighten me on the best approaches.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 7 by mimilyrics: 11:09pm On May 11, 2022
Seeing is believing. Don't pay for accommodation till you view it. You can book AirBnB or hotel via booking.com though and you go check accommodation when you get here.
