DestinationCann:
Lawyer or licensed agent?
If you used a licensed agent, you cannot get a login details to your application.

He definitely used his IRCC portal that has several other applications on it.

Wait it out.

Exactly, that’s the issue with mine too. He is a licensed agent and he has refused to give me login details said he has other people application there too. And he is not even bothered with the delay in my application. So like this I can’t send mails or webcam to ircc because I don’t even have any of my information

If you won't have anything, you should be able to have your UCI number and application number.

With your UCI number and application number, you can get all the documents he submitted in your application and the have a bird-eye view on the visa officers' concerns about your application through ordering of GCMS notes.

The agent is a lawyer, that's my challenge

A lawyer is not above the law.

If you don't want to sue him, you can go on with your UCI number and application number. That's all you need to reapply or find out what happened (order your GCMS notes)

It would be in your best interest to try other banks asides UBA as they have not been processing transactions lately
BenedictStinson:
I started my Form A process last week with Gtbank since that's my bank, downloaded the Form A and went to their office today to see if there's a way to fasten the process. Omo they said that it won't be available before my deadline (19th May). So I researched and saw that UBA and Jaiz are among the fastest banks for Form A. So do I have to open an account with them or can they handle the transaction even with my GT account

PPR Alert!

Second application.
Old Portal.
Deferred admission to Fall (September)

Application submitted: December 31, 2021
Raised webform: February 21, 2022
GCMS requested: February 23, 2022
No update on application till...
Response to webform: March 21, 2022
Eligibility started: March 21, 2022
Ghost updates: March 23, 2022
Medical updated to pass: March 25, 2022
BVL: March 29, 2022
PPR: March 30, 2022

Thanks to everyone that responded to my questions when I got the previous denial. I sent multiple emails to JustMellow and he was so helpful and very responsive, gave detailed analysis to the doubts I had, I'm super grateful.

So, I did my biometrics in Lagos, how do I go about sending my passport?

Also, I just realized that my current passport expires in January 2023 and I plan to send that for stamping. But I dont know if that will be a problem seeing that my classes start in September. Since I have a few months before resumption, can I renew my passport here in Nigeria? The renewed passport will not have the stamp, so I'm confused on what to do.

How do I handle this situation so I won't need to request for a new visa when I enter canada?
Please advise.

Do you and the kids plan to join her later too? And how do you plan to go about that, thanks.

Good day all,
Please in a situation whereby appointment for biometrics was booked twice by one applicant. What is the best way to be attended to by vfs for biometrics?
As the applicant was not attended to on the scheduled date to be captured and was told they would have to contact IRCC before she can be captured, as a result of her booking twice.
It's been over a months now and no feedback has been gotten. Several webforms has also been raised.
Is it advisable to just withdraw the application and reapply again or just wait for a feedback from IRCC @makano @omiinii @frankrobbn1 @anon123 @destinationcann @centennialguy

Hi Osemigho. My supervisor has recommended I defer to the next fall term to rnable me try again for entrance scholarship to help sort out funding for me. Do I wait for my new LOA to be communicated to me before proceeding with visa application or I should
still go ahead to apply with what I have and later advise IRCC of the deferral. The scholarship if gotten, would really be helpful. Kind of confused about the next line of action to take. @Osemigho and others who may have an idea of the best route to take. Thank you all

If your personal funding is sure and your passport have a long duration, apply now and defer the admission without telling your supervisor. Your supervisor may suggest that because the person is waiting for approval on a funding application. However, the person may not be aware of IRCC process. You will send updated LOA to IRCC. All the best.

Hello guys,
I’m new on here as I was advised by a friend to visit nairaland for help on my Canada student permit application. I’m a civil servant working for 3 years already as facility management Officer with my highest qualification as a specialist diploma in civil and industrial engineering from a Russian university. I got admission at New Brunswick Community College to a PG Diploma certificate program in Applied Energy Management for (September) Fall 2022, it is 1 year program with program. I received admission on the 29 Apr 2022 and I’m yet to submit my study permit application. I have paid my non-refundable confirmation fee of $500CAD, I’m yet to pay my tuition fees although I have proof of funds from my sister though she is married with kids. I need help to at least know my chances of getting my application approved? From the thread I see the application process taking about 4-6 months, would it be wise to defer my admission to Jan 2023 so I have enough time to obtain my study permit before resumption of the classes for the program? I would appreciate someone that can offer guidance though this process?

Thank you guys in anticipation.

Note: Applicants must provide a valid Transport Canada Marine Medical stating ‘fit for sea service’ or ‘fit for sea service with limitations’ prior to program start. In the case of an applicant with a certificate ‘fit for sea service with limitations’, the application will be reviewed. Failure to provide the certificate by the deadline may result in an offer of admission being revoked and withdrawal from courses.

Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school applicants may also be considered for admission. Eligibility may be met by applicants who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing. For complete details refer to:

Please guru in the house I need your professional opinion on the above subject.
The above is one of the major requirement for admission into the course I want to study in Canada.
How can an international student who does not have PR yet provide a valid Transport Canada marine medicals? hence the country does not accept marine medicals done outside of Canada.
Oseigbo, Makano, Frankrobbn1, Lekiboboe and anyone please help me!

This is a field specific case that you will hardly find a good response here. You need to investigate it yourself. If you can't find a good answer, aviod the program if you can. Oyinbo no dey joke with terms and conditions.

Hmmm

This seems like a Regulated program just like Medicine, Nursing etc.

Probably you should go for a Program you can tailor your work experience to.

I have a question,

You said you graduated 2012 and currently working onboard an Oil tanker vessel as an Able Body Seaman for over a year , so since 2012 till the time you got the ABLE BODY SEAMAN job, what kind of job were you doing? and what year in particular did you get the ABLE BODY SEAMAN JOB?

Thank you for taking out time to reply. The person 's 1st and 2nd degrees is Computer Science and Information Technology respectively and worked in the last 5years in the IT department of a bank. The person desires a management position and plans to setup his company in the future , hence he applied to study graduate diploma in Business Administration. Any green light
MBA is better if money is no issue. UCW has easier MBA admission, but their track record/history may not be glowing.

72k CAD
The loan is given out in USD
73k CAD to USD is 56k
Try to edit Ur COA to drop to 50k USD
Note every figure there is in USD not CAD
so when they ask for your tuition per year convert to USD b4 filling the figures

My COA is $72,2556. And I am eligible to $50,000 that's why.

Omo, I don't understand this IRCC sometimes. Most applicants I see here, their eligibility started a month or less after they submitted their application. Last week mine changed to "we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Mbok! my people is this normal?

I passed my medicals (upfront) and biometrics two weeks after submission on March 15.

Can you make your pre-assessment notes legible so the gurus in the house and others can see it clearly and comment.

Chefbella:
Hello good people,

I recently received my gcms notes, please someone should help me interpret applied since November although it looks like a final decision has not been made.

During my application I submitted my bank statement mbs as well as my father's own but his 12 months of mbs and CAC of business (real estate) I later sent two more bank statements as to show more funds in my application through webform.

Anyone with similar experiences? Your contribution is appreciated.

What was the initial message there? Double check to be sure its changed since most applicants see your new message as the standard message on their portal. It is the eligibility message that changes when review starts.
