On another page, I am seeking for employment at the moment, I just finished my internship (undergraduate level), planning on getting a job that can help me save up to 50_-60k.
Please any connection with at least a standard/menial job in lagos above 30-35_40k is welcome.

Opened a thread and reluctantly sent my CV on the job opening
I was called few days later
Passed the written and oral interview
Relocated from East to Lagos to start the job which am currently doing now

ohh wow…. I graduated from inspire polytechnic, it’s actually a free course powered by Lagos state and CVL, an NGO owned by Pat Utomi…. I got a placement to Southern sun hotel on the island, for some reason I didn’t go for the interview…. I was writing exams at my school that time…. Now I need the job so bad…. We actually treated all aspect of the hotel hotel… from front office through housekeeping, decoration, kitchen, bar, a bit of catering too and so much more…

I went for an interview through some post in nairaland, we are for in number. The interviewer picked the first person there interview instantly, while the second and third person where walked out, but I being the last of them was told to drop my c.v that their will call me if there's any need of an housekeeping. So I call the Op on nairaland and he told me that they said I did not dress appropriately, initially I put on Jean and polo with palm sander, but my response to the interviewer was excellent. I know I made a mistake on my dressing part, but at least they should have tried competency and what I will offer before using my dressing to judge me.
It's been 3 to four months now no calls, no messages from them. All the poster is telling me is that my dressing was not okay.
I spent 4k as transport to get to the interview, but its just a waste of my little saves and stress. Anyways I've bought a new pair of shirts now, so next time I don't want any lapses about not being employed.

I thank the Op for giving me the opportunity to go for the interview though, and he still stand by me even when we've never met talkless of knowing one another. Thank you nairaland and nairalanders too, I feel hopeful on this forum, because I've gain a lot, last week I had no money to fill my Gas cylinder and an amazing and great individual send me money to fill the gas, even when he did not know me or talk to me before, I even text him on Gmail he did not reply.
