Good morning, any joy on your Visa status? I just checked now and it's still on 'Application Received", but last updated was 5/14/2022. This is the third time the "Last updated date" has changed. Yet, no change whatsoever on the actual status. Stuck on "Application Received" How can the application be updated three times already but no actual change on the status? How does this even make any sense? What exactly is being updated, that's not reflecting on the status? Only in Nigeria.

I just tracked my application and its same as yours, updated 14th. I think Ozymes was referring to passport tracking on the ustraveldocs page which just tells you where your passport is but not status of application.

Yours have been approved twice this year You must be kidding me!!! Wow!

I have done all these (application and upload of required documents), but the bank keeps saying that it is on queue and will be processed...

The application has not even been reviewed yet, but they were very quick to reject my initial application because it was submitted more than 14days to my travel date.

This is not even the issue of scarcity, at least this is not what they are projecting. This is the issue of the application not yet been reviewed.

They show the same message. They also sent an email as well.my status was passport ready for collection, it never showed visa issued....or perhaps it showed it the 5 days i didnt check

Collected my passport today, we were successful.

I am using UBA.

The funny thing is that the REJECTED application was done within 48hours, and this was end of April.

I then resubmitted this month, May, and up until now, it has not even been reviewed.

What bank and what branch? I applied in February using SCB; it was approved in 24 hours but no disbursement. My husband used GTB and got his approved and disbursed within 48 hours. I quickly cancelled SCB and moved to GT and got it.

Based on that learning, we applied again with GTB in April and both got disbursement. A friend applied late and also got it.

So, what bank are you using? Do you have an account manager? Usual review and approval is done within 24 hours.

I don't have any experience with UBA unfortunately. Please go to the bank with the AF number and all your details and join the queue for PTA. They are meant to review and approve instantly. Wait there until it is approved by the first two approvers- the reviewer and the supervisor.

It is after this it will join the queue and during this time, follow up with daily calls and/or visits. It is then you will get it approved by disbursement reviewer and disbursement supervisor.

Also opt for the card option if there's a cash scarcity. Please see screenshot below of my last approval so you get clarity on the number of steps required. I submitted on the 19th of April and see it was approved by the first two that same day.
