Don't hope on this else you end up in Finland again.

Let's just observe and see what his coaching/tactical approach is gonna be like with respect to the Super Eagles. He has 12 months. Time will reveal all.

While I am happy Alhassan Yusuf finally gets his Super Eagles invite, I just wanna point out another Midfield marvel cutting his teeth in the same league that molded Alhassan (now in Belgium).

This one is a lad that has been mentioned several times. ISHAQ ABDULRAZAK (20 yrs).

Throughout the 2021 Allsvenskan season, he played more as a RWB/RM for IFK Norrköping. But this season, lad has finally been given the keys to the central midfield roles at the club and he has been doing very decently so far. Real Solid talent. Another gifted and hardworking CM building a Solid rep for himself in Central Midfield.

Across 8 games played so far in the 2022 Allsvenskan season, he has:

- 9 chances created. 2 big chances created. That's 1.1 key passes per game.

- 83% passing accuracy per game.

- 21 passes per game in defensive/own half.

- 28 passes per game in offensive/opposition half.

- 2.1 accurate long balls per game.

- 0.8 interceptions per game.

- 1.4 tackles per game.

- 6.3 duels won per game (5.0 ground duels won per game and 1.3 aerial duels won per game)

Another rising Midfield Pearl from Scandinavia for Nigeria.

Yea, I honestly felt Jordan should have gotten more time on court. Not as a starter ofcos. Hopefully his playing time fortunes changes next NBA season.

BascoVanVeli:

The bucks coach is just ridiculous for not giving Jordan a real shot. This man gave George Hill playing time when they needed buckets. Jordan is a restricted free agent this off-season so hopefully somebody gives an offer Milwaulkee can't match.

So happy it ended this way for him. I recall you predicting he'll win the fans over. Here we are.

I guess I must have even forgotten when I predicted such. Just glad he finished strong at Sparta Rotterdam. Way Stronger than he began with them.

With Ben Foster gone and retired now, he will only have Daniel Bachmann at Watford to compete with for the gloves in the Championship. Okoye could yet again go on and become a fans favorite at Vicarage Road.

The Evolution of Calvin Bassey Ughelumba into our reigning most inform Central defender who's also adept at LB is heartwarming. Kid's going to the top. A true beast at the back. European Glory awaits tomorrow.

Don't stress yourself if you're screaming because of his salary. $70k per month is way below the market prize for even a D-list coach.
Pitso at AL Ahly Nationale earns $160K. He was previously on 120k but his new contract was increased. I shudder to think we struggle to pay our national team coach half of what an Egyptian club pays their coach. The bar is really low.

I dont think national team coaches earn as much as their club side counterpart likely due to the workload of week in, week out games at the club. Its not exactly cause this is Nigeria, we're one of the highest paying in Africa, I might add.

Matchday 26: Newly promoted USG are top of table and 12 points clear of Brugge.

End of season: Club Brugge are champions.

Nobody is contesting the fact that clubs pay more than national teams, but for an African club, the differential is quite huge. $70K is bare minimum in the industry. Even your chart suggests Gernot Rohr was the least paid at the last world cup, when eye brows were raised at his meagre $50K salary.

Joe Aribo makes Whoscored's SPFL Team of the Season 21/22

Central midfield: Joe Aribo (Rangers) - 7.23 rating:

The third of five Rangers representatives, Joe Aribo was again superb for the Gers despite finishing 2021/22 second. The Nigeria international had a direct hand in 13 goals for Rangers, scoring eight times, while his five assists came from 61 key passes, that's the fourth best in the division. 48 successful dribbles was the joint-fourth best as Aribo ended the campaign with a rating of 7.23.
