I agree with your post but I would add a caveat. The caveat is that while most conceptions of a god cannot rise to fulfil their burden of proof and thus can be totally discounted, there may be concepts of god(s) that we either cannot properly explore or cannot even yet conceive so thus cannot be discounted entirely.
