Well put... standardization is needed.
Forgot to mention. You can see BOTH Negev and Minimi 5.56 SAWs while the former is simply a copy of the latter!
Also MG 3s, famed for reliability with a RoF of 1200 RPM, highest of any GPMG are also used. I heard last yr Kenyatta's Ruiru facility will this year upgrade to 7.62s and may drop the 5.56 mm which looks more likely after the US has finally dropped the M4.
Imo the army will standardise with either licence built or indig clean sheet rifles from Ruiru.

DRC 30mm PLdvK vz. 53/59 "Ještěrka" - Congolese army uses them for fire support against rebels. A few examples were captured by M23 rebels.
Fyi, THE most incapable combat formation in these parts are the Congolese! Training, recruitment, doctrine, discipline and combat effectiveness are either -30 or zero. Most observers consider them sobels, soldier/rebels. An uncle told me in the 90s you could COUNT with less than 3 fingers capable officers of Colonel and above. The same situation prevails at all levels from NCO to field officer rank to date. It's a cultural thing: Congolese love life too much to be good in soldiering.
It's NOT simply backwardness that enables tiny Rwanda to annex half the nation.

The best music i like is silence but from my younger days i recollect a song named - no rest for the wicked

Now i feel due to so much weird wahala getting associated with imported weapons, one can safely and surely modify the same as - no rest for the importer of arms grin

Is your infantry order still a section of 10 pax or have you adopted the US army way with squads of 8 men?

Who would've thought that the "dark world" would become an arms supplier to the "developed world"?
The land of South Africa belongs to the black people... every other thing in that country belongs to the White folks therein.

So technically it is still white people supplying arms to white people.

SAS KING SEKHUKHUNE, South African Navy
Taken into service today, SAS King Sekhukhune I is the first of three MMIPVs to be built for the SAN by Damen Shipyards Cape Town (DSCT), fulfilling a contract awarded by Armscor as Project Biro.

All three MMIPVs are DSCT Stan Patrol 6211 design platforms. They are 62m long, have a maximum speed of 26 knots, a range of 4 000 nautical miles and a crew of up to 62. The vessels will each carry a 9 m and a 7 m RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat) for boarding operations.

The MMIPVs are, according to DSCT, tailored to SAN requirements and feature the Damen Sea Axe Bow – a vertical hull form reducing slamming for safe, comfortable operations in rough seas. The new addition to the SAN fleet and the pair to follow are the first Sea Axe vessels to be acquired for South African waters.

G3 though hugely underated is still a favorite to many... Plus the scar H is slowly getting widely adopted.
Also check the thermal scope rangefinders in the second pic ..

If you check photos from recent ops you will note wide spread use of optical scopes across all units from the police to kdf

Good to see your indig electronics capacity is nature. You KNOW it is when 1st worlders order your systems!
Btw, can the MMIPV deploy drones like the Austal 60? It's equipped with a small flight deck.
The plan was to acquire Scheibel Camcopter S-100 for the frigates. They were tested, but funding saw the acquisition
postponed.
Turbulent head and crosswinds beyond 25 knots, limited deck size as well as lack of NATO landing grid represented exceptional challenges during the trials. The unmanned helicopter effortlessly conducted automatic takeoffs and landings and all other required maneuvers, thanks to its integrated GPS-independent positioning system, enabling pinpoint precision at a high dynamic range.
Not sure of the dimensions of the deck of the MMIPV.

When you see a weapon in widespread use the operators know! Everyone from Germans,Mexicans, Turks, Pakistanis, Portuguese and others used it along with its excellent derivatives, the LMGs and SMGs.
IIRC, Norway were the last 1st worlders to give up their own version less than a decade ago . In A' stan it was called the Norwegian hand cannon.

S, Africa would have been a great power without the whites. It's long overdue for a land redistribution

The million dollar question would be; why is a tank wondering in the woods on it's own?. Shouldn't motorised infantry accompany heavy armour? I mean that's standard global procedure.
