However, getting another mobo for this laptop is a cheaper than getting a another laptop.

As long as it is only the motherboard and keyboard that is the issue.

To get a good core i3 laptop UK use ,you will have to budget like #80k-90k

Changing the motherboard for this particular laptop (used) should be around #25-30k.

Getting a brand-new laptop with core i3 ,will have to budget like #250k above cos most of the laptop you will get now are 10th gen above.

Whether you get a brand-new laptop or UK use, it doesn't mean the laptop can not develop fault after 1hr of using it, that's why there is warranty on all products.

Unless you don't like the laptop,for me I'll advise you get another motherboard either used or new.

Engineers in d house good evening....pls I recently downloaded an app and left my laptop. When I was about using it the screen no longer comes up. Screen is blank but power button, volume button and WiFi button is on. The cap and number button would blink four times and stop and start again. I have removed battery and inserted it but still the same thing.

My Dell E6330 won't turn on and won't charge either. The power light comes on when I plug in the charger then goes off after few seconds. I recently bought a new battery thinking that was the issue but the problem still persists. Your assistance is needed guys. Please.

what is the laptop model, and you know the exact graphics chip and manufacturer. if it is from Amd radeon, just go to amd website and download the latest available. if it is from intel, go to the laptop support website and search for the driver. or update it from the system device manager, under the display driver, while connected to the internet.

it will take both. the hanging part depends on the amount of Workload you put on it. the files, softwares or programs and how heavy it is and the sizes they occupied

Inspiron 13R. that laptop has an AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5470. download the latest driver from Amd support website. from the list of all graphics drivers, search for Mobility Radeon HD 5470. and select the appropriate windows Os version. and download and install.

It's a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge-Core 13, and when I tried turning it on some time ago, it brought a screen display I can't explain or navigate my way out of. I shut down the computer back in an unconventional way.

Then I tried putting it on after (way after), and it worked. Did that one more time. Still worked

Now it's been back to the abysmal display this hot afternoon again. I don't know what's wrong and how to navigate my way out of it.

I'll appreciate it if anyone who has faced a similar issue knows what's wrong. And then engineers in the house too, help you guy

Due to this Windows Error Recovery issue the HP laptop I use, formerly a windows 7 Home Premium was formatted. No backup. After the format I found it in windows 7 Professional, any known risk?
Again, the issue now is whenever i try to check windows update it doesn't work whereas it did work some weeks ago before the 'Great Format'.
Please is there any hope? I'll appreciate a chance to make it work.

because I just upgraded from window 7 to 10 and it seems 10 is consuming my battery so quick

Does anyone know how to prevent filter keys from turning on automatically? The shit just turns itself on everytime I start the computer either fresh start or sleep resume.

Win 10 has more background services. Turn off the background services and run either balanced or power saver mode for your battery settings.

Looks like your harddrive has problems, either it is damaged somehow or the connecting cable is faulty. Do you know how to access the BIOS?
