F2 are not allowed to work but you can enroll in school part time or take a vocational course.

It’s just 2 days since the interview. In my case, did interview on Monday, got notification on Friday. Another notification on Sunday that it was with DHL

Been following this page, it's been indeed helpful for my B1/B2 visa interview, which held last friday. I have an issue, which I wish to know if anyone has encountered.

I was given a white paper, after my visa interview which i attended as a family with my Mum. The VO informed us that our application had been approved and we should expect to pick up the passport in abuja in a few days.

Subsequently i received an email with a notice to collect my mums Passport at DHL but did not get any notice email for mine.I decide to check the visa status of both mine and mum. Her visa status is ISSUED but mine says Administrative Processing, Last updated a day after the successful interview.

This is not my first US visa, but its the first time i have encountered this issue. Please, what does this mean? Does it mean the decision has changed from the Interview, Do I still have a chance? Or is it a denial?

For the interview, the transcript is as follows:

VO: Good morning and please pass me your passport .

Me/Mum: Good morning (Hands over docs).

VO: Takes Biometrics for Both of Us.

VO: I can see you are The Mum.

Mum: Yes sir.

VO: She is your Mum
Me: Yes Please,

VO: Where do you work
Me/Mum: I am a Civil Servant At the Central Bank, I work at The Bureau of Public Enterprise

VO: Do you have other children

Mum: Yes sir.I have 3 other children all in school. 2 in the USA and 1 in High School.

VO: what are you going to do in USA
Me: I intend to travel in the summer for a short holiday and to visit my 2 kids in the process.

VO: Begins typing for a few minutes (nodes, brings out a white paper ) your visa application is good to go and has been approved. We will send you a mail inq couple of days when to pick up your passport when visa is issued.

Me/Mum: Thank you sir.

I'm in the same situation right now. For an F1 visa. I don't know what's going on. This isn't my first visa either. My family and I went for our interview together on May 10th and my daughter's own has been issued since the 12th. got the email to pick up on Friday and on Sunday... . remaining mine and my husband's own...

Hi Ebi, did you and/or your husband did the VO tell you "approved" and gave you a white paper? Did you receive an email tagged "supplimental questions" after your interview? What's the status of your passport on the tracking website?

If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete.

thats what we received. she took our passports and gave us the i20 saying we should show that at the port of entry... didn't receive any supplemental questions email... its saying administrative processing for my husband and I but my daughter's own has been issued and we have picked it up...

I'm the F1 applicant. can F2 be issued without an F1? we applied together and got approved together... are you familiar with situations like this?

My wife is currently due for travel to USA for her PHD bt in the documents she filled single due to we ve only done our traditional marriage bt we are working on doing the court wedding before she leaves so I want to know can she still be allowed to request for her husband when she gets there? Thank you

Please,i need an answer. My application for b1/b2 renewal was refused. And was suppose to schedule a follow-up interview. The date that popped was not convenient for me ( i was in a neighboring country) . It has since then not popped up another. Recent Inquiries i made shows that Thursday has been set aside for follow up appointments for 221g refusals.
Please, how true is this?
