With this kind of huge Financial exposure, I pray bandits and kidnappers won't go after delegates and their family members.

After collecting such amount from politicians how then do we expect development. Nigeria will only get worse with this hand we are using.

I think it is right for every party to adopt open primaries to avoid unnecessary drama after primaries.

No Amount of prayers, fasting and Data analysis of how brilliant an aspirant is will move Delegates. Delegates understand one Symbol. When they see it, they do the Needful. That symbol leads to determination of who would emerged victorious grin

That is good.
Hope they will have more than one vote during the elections proper?
Re: Adam Namadi Asks Delegates To Return His Money After Losing PDP Election by madapcmod: 2:38pm On May 24, 2022
Nigerians must demand the names of delegates that will vote for presidential candidates.

We need to know who to hold if they give us useless candidates in APC and PDP.

We can't continue with this transactional politics

Just imagine 3.5m + 2.5m +2m = 8m per delegates just for house of reps. Now think of house of assembly, senate, Governor, President?

Presidential delegates will be receiving 20m minimum.

This is where the problem of Nigeria lies. The highest corrupt bidder wins and bad governance continues

What sort of fuckery is this, we should have electoral codes against bribing delegates, this negates the whole process. Nigeria fit no change, with this APC vagabond style.

Return gini? Are they money-lenders? Then they should wait till 2027 (next election season) to collect their money plus interest.

Is it your money? Money you stole from Nigerians.

The new rule in town is CHOPULATE as a DELEGATE and vote as a POPULACE.

Please, if they bribe you collect. When you reach the polling booth, vote your mind.

But on a serious note, who knows how I can become a delegate, maybe for 2027 elections. These delegates are swimming in money. Imagine all the money they would collect from aspirant: from state House of assembly to fed lawmakers to governorship and then like 10 presidential aspirants.
I wouldn't mind relocating from this dry UK to stay 1year in naija for elections.

Yes, there are countries that do no bribe delegates during primaries down to bribing electorates on voting days.

This is why direct primaries would have been the best, but Buhari say e go too expensive.
So now which one come dey more expensive?
After you give each delegate 2 million naira each. At least if the party did direct, you won't ever think of bribing all card-carrying party members 2 million each.

Most Nigerian politicians are evil anyway.
Producing a candidate for election based on how much he give una, rather than on how competent, brilliant and how he can solve problems
ordinary 5K wgjjtatm those ones, don't deceive yourself, delegate o, open primary o, na still who share moni pass. Remember delegate has to share money to be elected also
