Honestly this disclaimer from FAAN makes the whole thing look funny to me
"
The aircraft was sold by the owner to a buyer, who was taking it to its final destination.
Thank You"
Final destination by land or air? Or is it not aeroplane again? Can't it fly?

FAAN didnot say anything wrong.

Obviously the plane has been scrapped and cannot fly again. Infact FAAN, has askes alot of airlines to remove junk planes from the airport.

The new buyer is definitely not using it for flying purpose. Haven't you seen an hotel made of scrap airplane and even house? That will be used for amusement purpose.

You people need to be giving benefit of doubts atleast. Not everything is as bad as it looks.

it was sold and was taken to the new buyer's destination; and you're doing that by towing it with trailer or with cart or wheelbarrow; zoo republic

There is something fundamentally wrong with nigeria. I don’t know what it is, but even the devil will be scared of coming here. I have been to over 8 countries, and I have never seen a plane being towed on the road. Why did it come from and where are they taking it to
Hahahahahaha, na now you wake up? Welcome to your country Nigeria.

What else are they suppose to tow it with?
Besides it's a decommissioned plane and the new owner is likely to convert it to a restaurant or relic in a museum or something...

Small thing Una go dey shout zoo

Stuffs like this happens in saner climes...if there's no carrier plane to move it...They would definitely tow it

The only wrong here is the fact that it was towed during traffic peak hours.... thereby obstructing traffic flow...

Imho...it should have been towed in the midnight

Nothing special about this please. Happens all over the world. I'm sure the plane is no longer in service and is being moved for other uses. Matter of fact, I want to buy a disused plane (I no know how much o!) to be turned to a restaurant.

So bloody what?

Too many on Niaraland seem easily manipulated. Too many of you have been psychologically defeated by the media. You have been conditioned to hate yourselves . I bet if someone posts a picture of a family having a meal together in Nigeria and headlined it , "A Family Seen Eating Together In Ajegunle !!" many of you would automatically respond with, "Oh Nigeria" or . "which way Nigeria", or " Dis Country tire me!".

Post, "Nigerians Were Seen Breathing In and Out!!!" and some Niaralander somewhere will post, "oh this shithole, why was i born in Nigeriaaaa!"

They are fact.
If you go to the airport, you will know alot of junk planes need to be taken out.

And since the culture here is to use something till completely bad, they were not flown to their resting place before total damage like the case in US.

Government is not doing fine is not a reason to see fact and say otherwise just to suit your preconceived narrative.
FAAN also explained what happened.
And a little bot of reasoning would have helped you too... If plane is in good condition, where are they towing it to and for what?
If you claim it crashed, then I have nothing to say to you again.

Nothing is wrong with Nigeria. Planes are towed all the time especially if it is no longer airworthy and to be converted to perhaps a tourist attraction as a hotel or something like that.

You can clearly see that the wings have been removed from the plane which means it is no longer airworthy.

The only thing they did wrong was not accompany it with traffic cops whose job would have been to hold up traffic so they can have free movement.

what is the big deal about this.

An individual obviously bought a scrapped aircraft to use for a business venture.

Maybe a boutique hotel or a restaurant ...

They should have transported it much later in the night to avoid all this plenty talk
