It may not have been ritual killing as earlier thought but it seems like the hotel management panicked and decomposed the body without the authorities been notified.

For those saying it was not a ritual killing, please do more simple thinking about it and you will see the truth. More evidence will surely come up, God willing.

I don’t know how people think sha . Someone dies in your hotel and the next thing is to dump the body . How stupid can you be ?
They could be innocent of the cause of death but definitely guilty of mishandling the situation for which they will forever suffer for even if they are acquitted

To even learnt that this Rahmon Adegoke Adedoyin was nominated to be Ooni of Ife by the former Oonirisa worries me.

I guess this is the kind of rituals they engaged in to achieve money, fame and power.

The way human life is valued in this clime is just something else. A full human being dies in an hotel and the best the management can do is administer oath of secrecy on staff? What happened to alerting the necessary authorities? Placing the business' repute over doing what's right both legally and morally? Na wa

The question is what was he trying to cover up? It's no big deal if a lodger dies naturally in an hotel. The problem is that the owner of the hotel had something to hide.

Is like you still need the assistance of digital machine to scan through the essay and interpret. The MD administered oath of secrecy on the staff because he knew what happened and is directly involved and doesn't want to be exposed.

I don't understand... Is it the hotel that killed him? Abi the hotel ogboni spirit nai kill am? If they actually took an oath then there's more to this story. Assuming he died a natural death, cctv footages would give a clue and he would have been rushed to the hospital. But since the hotel have a hand in his death, then the oath was necessary for them to save their asses. There must be more to this story and i can't just believe that somebody dies in a hotel on his own and then the hotel would take it upon themselves to take an oath.

This was radisson blu. They were ready to let a high net worth guest bleed to death as long as they could be insulated.

Now imagine what a corner corner hotel in a backwater would do

Maybe the same thing he is now being accused of.
Maybe he felt if it's known the guy died in his hotel, people would start insinuating that that's what he has doing to be rich and powerful.
I don't even think the owner is aware.I feel the son who manages the hotel fo olishly did it to try to protect the dad's image. Now see where it has landed the family.

so person no go dey lodge for hotel again

The tin tire me o and I'm now apprehensive about staying in ANY hotel in Nigeria.

If a hotel receptionist can say because you did not check out on time she will use a spare key to open a guests door whilst the guest is maybe sleeping then NOBODY is safe in such hotels.

I'm not sure if all hotels in Nigeria have such doors (where the guest can lock door from inside NOT with key but by turning a knob and even at that the hotel staff can override and open his locked door from outside with a key perhaps whilst he is sleeping) but if so then no hotel in Naija is safe or better put it is safer to check the door from inside before paying and only pay if the locking mechanism from inside the room entails using a key to lock the door and after locking, you leave the key fully turned to the lock position and leave the key inside the door lock so that no hotel staff can open the door from outside as their spare key simply will not be able to enter the door lock from outside the room.

Not fool proof but still better than nothing but then again what if you are stranded and need a hotel desperately and the only one around has rooms where the only way to lock door from inside is NOT with a key but with a knob to turn leaving you at the mercy of the hotel staff and owner who can simply use their key from outside to open and enter your room whilst you are asleep.

Before na to avoid catching things like Covid or Monkey Pox from contaminated bed linen and pillows in Hotels person dey reason but now one has to add dodgy hotel staff and owners who can open your hotel room door whilst you are fast asleep for reasons best known to them.

God help us in Nigeria. Too many ways to die an untimely death.

My humble, honest opinion is that the guy died from health related issues in the hotel and the hotel management fo olishly tried to safeguard the image of the hotel, naively trying to avoid being tagged a ritual killing perpetuated in the hotel,by dumping his corpse like a piece of rag.
Now,the verdict of ritual killing will stay with the accused owner,no matter what evidence is brought to the contrary.
you are right. That’s all I see

This na bazaar.

They went in search of the woman's corpse which was found after some days with fish bites. Thise involved were arrested but i didn't follow the case anymore. The woman that died was married to a man that lived in UK for so many years without coming back and didn't have any kids(though she adopted a girl some years before she died). So i think the case was held in secrecy in order to protect the man's family.
