Most of the killings happened in ONELGA, and we know what led to all these.

Currently, everywhere is calm.
the Ones that happened in Ogoni are what?

The ones that happened in Emohua that brought OSpac to Emohua are what?

If wike was doing well in security, would there have been OSpac?

Who is Bobisky and the rest of the other urchins that terrorised ogoni?

The better part of Wike's government was plagued with insecurity, and he was clueless about it.

You just reminded me of another Wike's scam. Amnesty.

Wike carried out a scam amnesty project. Had them registering at the State Secretariat, yet nothing came out.

OSPAC (ONELGA Security Peace and Advisory Council) was first formed in ONELGA. Everything started in ONELGA, it was when other LGA saw the effectiveness that they adopted it.

The killings were a wave from ONELGA.

We know what started it (since 2014).
We are glad everywhere is calm now.

If he took over during Amaechi's period of Niger Delta militants, maybe he would have resigned.

You are very observant.

That PDP candidate Simi Fubara allegedly has case with EFCC.

I can see Ojukaye Flag Amachree from Buguma, Asari Toru LGA.
Nice one let power move to the Riverine bloc of Rivers State. Let them team up with him, get a good running mate & deliver Tonye Cole.

That is the man for the job in the brick house.
The many unpardonable sins of Wike...wike is a smart crook.

He anointed Simi Fubara, the accountant general of Rivers state his successor so as to cover up all his reckless expenditure and misappropriation of funds to the tune of N435Billion.

Wike ensured that biometric verification of staffs was done twice, not because he has the interest
in civil servants' welfare, no he was angry that
huge billions are being spent on wage bill and needed to free up much funds so as to enable him and his cronies to loot . That is why he never approved promotion and employment of new staffs into the civil service despite appropriating additional N10billion naira yearly to take care of that. Nobody could could challenge him, not even the rubber stamp members of RHA.
Rivers state public servants thought Wike was the messiah they need to turn around the fortunes of their wellbeing, Alas! Chibuike Amaechi was even a saint compared to Wike.
No promotion, no approval of minimum wage rather he approved additional N10K across all salary. Wike may God treat you the way you treated Rivers state civil servants. There is no way, i repeat there is no way are we going to allow your puppet criminal accountant general to govern us. God forbid evil

Am sorry to keep you in the know that APC will not win gubernatorial in rivers even if buhari is their flag bearer. Ask Amaechi how far

That Igboid word sef... E no concern us.

All right...

My people has never called the Egbema people in ONELGA, Igbo. We call them Egbema, nothing more, nothing less, just the way we call Ogoni, and Kalabari their own names.
I hope that answers your question.

I understand you. That Igboid wasn't termed by me. However, that's how the outside world, even scholars, view many clans in Rivers State.

The Egbemas are just like many other clans in Imo State. If we start declaring our clans as Tribes, then Nigeria would have at least 2,500 tribes. Imagine calling Mbaise, Orlu, Mbano and Owerri tribes just because they speak differently from one another.

What I am saying is that people often call Egbemas in Imo Igbo and the same people in Rivers non-Igbo when they are one and the same people. People call the Asa/Ndoki in Abia and Ohaobu (in Nkanafun LGA of Akwa-Ibom) Igbo and call the Asa/Ndoki of Obigbo, Rivers non-Igbo. That's the narrative I'm attacking.

Wike hasn't achieved up to half of what Amaechi achieved in office, so spare me all these.
No single human capital development since Wike became governor, nothing like jobs or empowerment.

Amaechi employed over 13k teachers, built 24 secondary schools and 360 primary schools,
Built songhai and buguma farms,
Sent thousands of youths on abroad scholarships through RSSDA,
Created Timariv and maintained law and order on rivers roads, creating employment for countless citizens in the process,
Amaechi invested more in infrastructure and any sector that you can think of,

The only people who should celebrate or appreciate Wike are people who have never experienced good governance like the people of Ogun state or Abia state,

But we Rivers people have experienced Amaechi and we can't settle for less or praise less in the form of a visionless Wike.

You have said it all. I used to be a strong supporter of Wike, but after his 1st tenure I knew we have made a grave mistake as Rivers people.

1 of the most important areas of governance which is human capital development, Wike failed this woefully.

No human capacity development,
No job creation,
Port Harcourt doesn't have a modern transport system,
Port Harcourt wasn't decongested,
No proper refuse collection system,
Uneven spread of infrastructural projects.
All these were not achieved after 8yrs,
So what did he do in 8 yrs?

Amaechi did all these and more in 8yrs

This is Wike's area of weakness. Employment/job creation is his great undoing. This will make or mar PDP in the next election.

What about the Egbema in Delta and Edo?
Re: Tony Cole Clinches Rivers APC Governorship Ticket by Nyanabo(m): 11:47am On May 27, 2022
Good move if the APC, I stated this on the earlier thread that if they give Tonye Cole the ticket the margin would be very thin for the APC.

S. Fubara is an Okrikan, Tonye Cole is Kalabari and of both Ijaw. We expect each side to vote wholeheartedly for their own. They would then test their popularity amongst the uplanders. Anyone with the highest popularity would end up as governor. But I see fubby (fubara) clinch this reason because;
1. He is based in Rivers and has grassroots support. But Cole is not based in Rivers and would be very difficult to convince Rivers people. Same issue played out with dakuku peterside.

2. With Wike as the sitting governor it's sure the ikwerre would back Fubara.
