There's a serious war on social media with opposing fans about the recent rise in female characters taking the limelight over the males. Although, almost all these female characters you see have been around for a while. Decades.

The problem is that studios are mostly promoting the female characters now due in some part woke culture and SJWs. It's a business strategy. They move with the flow.

Massive failures(critically & financially) in Hollywood attempts to make female CBM films like Elektra, Catwoman, Supergirl ensured female Superheroes were absent from CBM culture for the most part of the 21st century.

It's only after the raving success of Wonder Woman in 2017 that studios became confident of making female Superhero movies on the big screen again.
So now with their comeback and seemingly ubiquity, it will look as if they pushing agendas instead of honest adaptations. Also taking over from their prominent male counterparts ain't helping matters.

Each time I watch their movies it feels like a ordinary movies by my secondary school drama club, the lines are lime, everything is bad, I start know about iron man in my Jss and iron man and other MCU movies, which we just know their character recently are more successful, the only good movie in DC is joker, maybe with the new changes upstairs, in DC board can turn things around

The best actor for casting this role of kartos should be Travis Fimmel ( Ragnar Lothbrok ), he has almost every qualities needed for this role except height which I think can be overcome by use of CGI
