What's going on guys?
I have another set of interviews. I'm still awaiting replies from the last.

What are you guys currently working on?
Currently, I'm writing a paid article ($150) for a startup in India.

I don't see any wrong in sharing your resume here on nairaland. You can literarily blur out the parts you think are sensitive: your name, school etc. It will help alot of devs like you too
It'll also save your some time replying to private mails from here.

Also, I don't see anything wrong in dropping your github profile. It will help and inspire others too. There's nothing like "my code"
In the devs community, we like to help ourselves get better. When you get to a senior level dev, you'll spend your time mentoring and helping other junior Devs.

No hate, One love
I wish you success

I totally understand you, but I already dropped all the tips about how I structured my resume.

Nairaland is an anonymous forum and I intend to remain so. (Although some here already knew my name from email).

There really isn't any one-size-fits-all template here, everyone's story in tech differs. What matters is you follow the tips that have been proven to bring results.

I want to become a content writer too but don't know where to go to for proper guidance.

I'm not a content writer.
I'm a technical (content) writer. There's a difference.
If you're talking about the latter, well, just like I stated earlier in this thread, start writing about anything you're learning or you've learnt while coding or designing, as the case may be.

When you've got a couple of solid articles, start applying for technical writing jobs (short term ones).

Later today, I would compile a list of sites one could apply to for jobs. I hope I don't forget.

Unless you're writing technical documentation only, a technical content writer is just a specialized content writer.

How much do you charger per word anyway?

That's a round of negotiations. I cannot give a definite answer.
Most of my jobs have a fixed price anyway. Not broken down into rates.

Would you be interested in a gig that might pay you $70 usd per 1200 words? I want to refer you to a company I work with. It's not guaranteed but they'll at least pay for your test articles.

If you are, please let me know so we can arrange to talk by email (I can't do PMs as I don't use the email I registered with anymore).

And please, even if you aren't interested kindly let me know so I can remove some of the details here.

Cheers.

Hello SmartyPant, Call me and pardon me for acting as a gatecrasher, if OP isn’t interested or the opportunity is open for more than one person, I’d love if I can be given an opportunity to prove myself.
