About the tongue u can clean your babys tongue with a small towel soak in water while bathing him morning and night

When did you start having a full bath?

I started a full bath 4th day but was covering the plastered incision site with wrapper before bath. A week and one day later after CS, Dr remove the badge abi plaster they put on me and I started bathing without using wrapper.

Father Lord, we thank you for the journey thus far because it is not by our power nor might that we have come to the month of our supernatural delivery but for your mercy and favor that you have shown us, accept our thanksgiving in Jesus mighty name.

I say a big congratulations to all of us team June, e no easy buy here we are, our testimonies shall be permanent and people shall rejoice with us in Jesus mighty name.
I believe our hospital bags must have been packed and ready in preparation for the arrival of our little ones by now. Please let's also endeavor to put things in other, like finalizing our leave(for both civil and private employees), start exercising for easy delivery and oh yes we can now eat fruits and foods that aids easy birth( like eating pineapple, dates, zobo, drinking ewedu or okra) whether it works or not I don't think there's harm in trying it.

There shall be no loss amongst us ijn, we shall all go into the labor room and come out alive and with our babies alive too IJN, we shall all come back to share our beautiful BA's and BS ijn, none shall be found wanting or missing among us ijn. Our delivery shall be easy, short and painless IJN.

First time mamas like me, please no dulling o, when u see signs of labor, better to go to hospital and get checked and sent back home to come later than to sit at home and be forming pro.

Mine was removed on the third day or so but I still bathe without allowing water touch it. I still feel peppery there sometimes so I wonder how it is going to be like if water touches the place. Do you still feel pain there?

My last antenatal was exactly 1 day after my EDD. Prior to this time, I was told to come with a scan/ BPP result and do a OGTT as well. The results came out fine. The doctor I was seeing told me he'll give me 10 additional days to naturally fall into labor, if by then I don't, I'll be induced. Suddenly, he decided to consult his superiors and they insisted I should be induced that same day because having trace of glucose in my urine at every urinalysis and having to pass my EDD may bring complications for the baby if I'm allowed to progress to 41 weeks +. I went home, carried by hospital bag and returned to the hospital by 7pm. On getting there, before I could finish running tests, getting a blood donor and other prerequisites done it was 11pm. The doctor to insert the catheter did it only to be discovered that my doctor recommended insertion of tablet. The catheter was removed and I was asked to wait till midnight when the drug will be inserted. Around 1am, the doctors came around, I was told I had dilated 1.5cm already. The drug was broken and inserted. I lost sleep till around 2am when mild cramps started. I began to time it using the clock in the room and discovered that the cramps were 5 mins apart. It was bearable so I quietly stayed awake turning from side to side and urinating frequently untill it was 6am. By 7am, the doctors came back to check on me, I was supposed to be inserted the tablet again if I wasn't progressing but I told them of the contractions. VE was carried out and I was 4cm, the Dr. decided not to insert the second dose (that God she didn't cause I saw shege). The drs were praising me for being strong enough to endure the contractions without a noise all through the night ( in my mind, I was like na only 4cm na, I don't know how it will be as I progress). By 8am, two nurses did VE and said I was 6cm dilated. I was moved to the labour suite. By now I have lost my cool and was pacing around. The contractions became unbearable, by 9, I was at 8cm, that's when I completely lost control, breathing practice failed me, I began to shout at each contractions. As it progressed, it began to feel like very hot poo was disturbing me. Later the contractions came with the urge to push (seriously I tried not to push cause I heard it could lead to the tearing of the cervix).Then my water broke. I held on to anyone I could grab telling them how painful the contractions was. I guess the providers attending to me didn't think I'd deliver so fast, they apparently didn't set up the things needed until I was almost fully dilated and told them that I would push. Hurriedly everything was set up. I was told to push and one the second push the baby was out. She gave me a tear, which was sutured after being given an injection at the site to numb pains. I'm grateful to God that everything went well. I wish all expecting moms safe delivery in Jesus name, Amen

I started having mild contractions around 3am on May 23rd so I couldn't sleep till day break.. I saw mucus plug just when we were about leaving home and my water broke on my way to the hospital .. The contractions increased .. Doctor did VE immediately I arrived at the hospital in the morning and said I was 5cm dilated. I was so happy.. I was moved into labour room, Contractions increased and the pain unbearable, I can't explain it .. VE was done again after few hours and I was moved into delivery room.. I was told to push as contraction was coming, but I was so tired to push..After several pushing, the midwife was like I will receive episiotomy ohh. I pushed a few more times then baby finally came out ... I thought I was done with all the pains till they started stitching the episiotomy..I was shouting while they stitch..

Mine was removed on the third day or so but I still bathe without allowing water touch it. I still feel peppery there sometimes so I wonder how it is going to be like if water touches the place. Do you still feel pain there?

My plaster was removed on the 3rd day too and I was told in the hospital that I can have full bath but should ensure the site is always dry and I clean with spirit and cotton wool.So I have been having full bath but I don't scrub the site and I dry clean the area Immediately.

First off, I want to wish us a happy new month and Ramadan Kareem to our Muslim sisters, may we all have reasons to be grateful to God Almighty always.

However, congratulations to our porters to April, we are glad you all gave birth successfully and we are thankful to God Almighty that both mothers and babies are alive, healthy and bouncing in the Lord's blessing. May your joy never be cut short in Jesus might name.

Consequently, I am glad we had new mamas register with us teamperfection therefore we are happy for the lord has increased us in every aspect of our lives. Father Lord, we thank you for the journey thus far because it is not by our power nor might that we have come to the month of perfection but for your mercy and favor that you have shown us, accept our thanksgiving in Jesus mighty name. Though it seemed far(at least for me), you gave us live, strength, courage and every other things necessary for easy waddling.

Therefore, my May mamas I say a big congratulation in advance to us all because our testimonies are permanent and people shall rejoice with us in Jesus mighty name. At this juncture, I believe our hospital bags must have been packed and ready in preparation for the arrival of our little ones. Please let's also endeavor to put things in other, like finalizing our leave(for both civil and private employees), start exercising for easy delivery and oh yes we can now eat fruits and foods that aids easy birth( like eating pineapple, dates, zobo, drinking ewedu or okra) whether it works or not I don't think there's harm in trying it.

Lastly, like we've professed, there shall be no loss amongst us(amen). Mothers and babies shall come out alive from the hospital in Jesus mighty name and no death shall be recorded afterwards. I want to use this medium to thank all my teamies, you have made this cappo work easy for me with your contributions, suggestions and availability, therefore I say thank you very much and I'm honored to be amongst you especially being a first time mom. To everyone (our experienced mamas) who have contributed immensely on this thread and made(still making) it easy for us all, may the good Lord grant you your heart desires in Jesus name. Thanks teamie.. I bathe too but ensure my sponge doesn't drip water and I dip towel in water to clean off soap from my upper body. I don't go towards the incision site with sponge for fear of being restitched if anything happens (God forbid).. I'll try and start letting water flow from tomorrow
