I just got a refusal letter from UKVI today.

Reason was: You have applied to enter the UK for 15 days for the purpose of tourism, I
acknowledge the documents you have submitted from your sponsors. However it is
your personal circumstances which is paramount in assessing your application.
You state that you are employed earning an annual income of 9,500,000 NGN
(£18,050). In support of your application you have provided documents in relation to
your company ……LTD, However these documents do not demonstrate that your
business is actively trading at the level of income you have declared on your
application,
You state that you will personally spend 700.000 NGN (£1,330) on your visit 1o the
UK. In support of you finances you have provided copies of your personal bank
statement which shows deposits that are not in line with what you have declared on
your application. Combined with the concerns raised regarding your employment, I
am not satisfied that your circumstances are as you have presented, leading me to
doubt your intention to visit the UK at this time.
• In light of the above, I am not satisfied that you intend leave the UK at the end of your
visit or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Therefore your application is
refused under paragraphs V4.2 (a) & (c) of Appendix V.
Please guys Any advice on what to do next?

1. Evaluate your income from your company well and state as such on the application form with all necessary document. Make sure all sales and transaction are done through your bank to prove the company is active and not dormant
2. Explain every lumpsum or deposits aside your stated monthly income in your personal bank statement.

My concern now is, my application hasn't left that stage still. What might be the problem?

@GTB cards are working fine now. The limit has gone to 200 usd again.

Hi, can you confirm if the GTBank $200 limit is still feasible? My card was declined this morning. I used a GTBank card on the 1st and 2end and max out the $200. It worked then, but I’m thinking they’ve reverted back to the $20

For parents, one is late. So, I didn't fill for the late parent. I just filled for a parent.

3 APPLICANTS...mother and 2 children but only received collection email for one child...

Biometrics: 20th may
Received at DMC : 25TH MAY
Another mail from Sheffield acknowledging receipt of our application : 26th May

Collection mail for daughter only : 2nd June

Recieved :3rd June with visa

I'm a bit worried cos all emails we have recieved from the beginning has come together so why is our collection mail not Coming together .

Will give more details on documents submitted and funds that I filled in the firm that gave me so much heart ache � . It will end in praise I believe

I got the question correct please. My mum was refused because pf this in Feb. 2022, this year! My husband and I are paying all her expenses. WE are the sponsors, yet they wanted to see HER OWN bank statement. It doesnt matter the balance on the account, please INCLUDE THE STATEMENT

Really? I also used a GTBank card to pay the Visa fee and it went with ease. I think we should also get opinion from other people that have tried it recently

There have been 5 UK public holidays between March 11 and today June 3, making it 11 weeks not 12 but yes that’s worrying. Send a paid mail or call them.

Thank you very much. I will do just that. I guess it's the visit visa route that the Ukraine is affecting more than any other route because I have seen people who did biometric in April and even May receiving their Visas

No you will not need it just go with your appiontment printout, photocopy of your passport data page, print your checklist last page and your international passport

Exactly, the complete checklist is needed for those who needs assistance services. In my case I printed all pages and they took only last page which is signatory page beacuse i am self service applicant other pages are where those assistant service applicant will tick the documents they will upload at the center.

A TLS officer prints an acknowledgement page for self service applicants for signing.

Yep, that’s exactly what happened. Hence why I put the screenshot out there. The last page needs to be signed by the applicant. My wife needed that page. She printed all the checklist page but the last page was the one that they used for her. It doesn’t cost much to make it off and make sure any applicant take it with them. We are talking about Nigeria here.

I've never needed to submit the last page. Most recently, April 20, 2022, I forgot (as my last application was two years ago) and printed all pages. TLS Abuja took only the first page (as with my previous applications done in Lagos), and printed an acknowledgement of all my uploaded documents for me to sign. What you are saying is thus strange to me.

If you are so certain of this, the gentleman can print all documents - since it costs nothing to do so.
