A single mother is trying to raise some money legitimately to feed her kids and the police in Canada decide to harass her.

Did you even read before commenting? Was her means of raising money legitimate? Why be thinking when it stated exactly why she was arrested and charged? The circle of people you roll with when you come can make or mar you. I dont know her peculiar circumstances especially her eligibility to work. But i know she was a top shot in her career before she traveled...i don't see no new skills, new education, or certifications on her profile.
She also has been self employed since she came . That is really tough on her. Life could be a lot easier with the right info.

Regardless of that, physical abuse against woman is a capital offense in the west.

Not everyone would like her type of hustling. The Oak Mall management, shoppers and resident would find her a bit aggressive. Maybe she didn’t have the permission from the local authority and the Mall management to display her products there. Some shoppers might find her a bit overwhelming approaching them and aggressively trying to persuade them to try her teas.

Canada has stringent requirement just any nigeeian cannot travel.

Its possible she was told clearly at the beginning, but she did not listen, like how we do in Nigeria
