Hello everyone

So I intend showing my proof of fund through gift deeds from3 of my brothers. Aside the gift deed form, do I require any other thing from them.

Also, the account I will be using has only been for savings but I also intend to add my salary account which is the source of funding the second account that has all the money. I hope this will not be an issue

As an agent it has always been my job to tell my clients to be patient and relax, but when it came to my turn, it was hard for me to follow my own advice Knowing how unpredictable the Canadian process works.

So I put all my trust in God because nobody can guarantee Canada study permit except God! I drew strength from Psalm 33, each time I get worried I will pray and reassure myself of God’s promises to me with that particular bible verse.

Along the line, I discovered this thread on nairaland and started coming here to draw strength from people’s PPR testimonies. I am happy to share my testimony today. Lol I was at the Gym when the email came people were looking at me crazy I ran home immediately to share the news with my family.

I know how you feel reading this right now, you will pray a silent prayer and then go and check your portal. Don’t worry God will come through for yo, with God you can never lose

With God you can never lose! when God shows up He shows off. My God never fails, Odogwu!!

Wow. The harm these agents cause. They have to be named and shamed. Was he given a procedural fairness letter to respond to? Lets wait for the response from the gurus. cry

Hello good evening guys. Please I need your counsel on the issue below.
My friend had PhD admission at University of Alberta. He used the services of an agent for the TRV application. Initially, all seemed to be going well because he had medical request and subsequent PPR.
He was looking forward to get his passport when shoot he got a refusal letter from IRCC stating that the bank statement of his sponsor submitted as part of his application was fraudulent. Hence, he has been banned for 5 years. As we speak now, the passport is still with IRCC.
Please what is the best way to address this issue?
And how can this ban be lifted from his application?

Are you sure you selected educational fees and not upkeep or PTA? If you selected educational fees and you got this response, pick another branch on the portal and submit same documents.

Yes. My friend says the agent did use fraudulent SOA but he was not privy to that.

1. You may want to source for legitimate ones by yourself locally, but beware of scammers.

2. Check whether or not the College is a DLI, if it's, you should further email the college especially the departments and inquire about whether or not a particular program qualifies for PGWP. Note: not all courses in a DLI qualify for PGWP.

3. Your chances of getting admission are the same as every others except that you didn't mention the program level. For master's, your chances are very slim, you'll just be wasting your money on application fee. For PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip, your chances are high. Colleges and universities offer PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip: even, some colleges offer master's degree.

4. To get a PGWP, you must have studied for at least 8 months in a course that is PGWP-eligible. Note: not all courses in a DLI qualify for PGWP.

5. Medical Examination, either upfront or requested, includes Chest X-ray, HIV test, Syphilis test, Serum Creatinine, and general medical examination.

Please we applied for my wife visa with my children and me as accompanying, she was requested for medicals yesterday but we didn’t see for others yet. Any reasons?

Hello Adwoa816,

For him to acknowledge that then, there is nothing to be done. IRCC don't know any agent, it was his application, so is him they know. Ignorance is not an excuse and not when he was the one that used the services of they said agent. So nothing he can do than to serve his 5 year ban. So sorry about that but your friend's agent has for now, ruined his Canada study dream.

Hello,

Relax, it will surely come. Just give it a day or two. Then you can start inquiring from IRCC.

If your medicals will expire by November 2022, you are good. Just resend the slip you have with explanations of when it will expire. A friend did that recently and it was passed. So do it immediately.

But boss, you know, he will still need a valid medical to travel eventually. This current one is still valid, but what about by the time he chooses to travel?

You may want to wait awhile and see if they'll still send for you and your children. If after some days they haven't sent, you may want to send them a mail.

I’m experiencing the same, I know someone who did on 13th with same issue. I want to wait till next week before I start sending mails.

Good afternoon everyone ( it’s my first time )
Please I need advice on how to go about my study permit.

I got an admission into The University of Manitoba Winnipeg and I plan to apply for my visa next month.

I’m 25 and I’m my own sponsor (is it advisable? Because I don’t have a sponsor)
The school said I can process my visa without payment of fees.. (I can pay the fees later)

I have upto 35,000USD in my domicilary account.
Also a landed property

Also I have a job/Business that pays me 140k - 200k month

And also a professional cryptocurrency/NFT enthusiast with certificate and I earn a lot from my trades

Please will this money in my account be enough for proof of funds?

My course is a two year under graduate program and I intend to apply I have 4 siblings, a land and a business and I intend to use them as proof of ties.

Please guys what other things do I need to do?

Good day guys

I'm new to this forum. And I'm glad to see how everyone is happy to contribute to others' success by sharing relevant information and ideas.

I Submitted a study permit application on May 11, biometrics completed the next day. Used the New Portal. First time applicant. Have taken my "patience pill". lol!

I have a worry which I'm confident you guys can help me out with your brilliant ideas.

Reading through my study permit application summary, I just noticed something in the "Medical background question" section of the application form - the yes/no questions.

The question I'm a bit confused about is this one below:

"Have you had a medical exam performed by an IRCC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months?"

- My question is:

Should someone who did an upfront medicals respond "YES" to this question?

I responded "NO" to the question.

Let me put the whole thing in context for you.

My "NO" response to the question was true at the time I was filling the form because I hadn't done any Medicals at the time.

Though I'd booked for an upfront medical for May 9, my application was ready to be submitted before that date (form completed, all documents uploaded). And I didn't want to wait for the medicals since I could still do it after submission.

However, for like 5 days I hard issues with submitting the application due to transaction being declined when I tried paying the fees with different cards (Naira Mastercard, then a dollar Mastercard).

While I struggled with the payment palaver, May 9 came and I went and did my medicals. On May 11, I succeeded with the transaction (through a friend's dollar debit card) and the application was submitted.

Considering the day I did the upfront medical (May 9) and the day my application was submitted (May 11), I now feel that the correct response to the question, in my case, should be "YES". (This is if the question applies to upfront medicals did before submitting the visa application).

- Now my worry is:

If the question applies to upfront medicals did before submitting the application, is there any risk that the VO may wrongly understand it as an intentional lie and interpreted is as a "misrepresentation". In this case, would there be need to raise a webform now to explain what happened? Should I just not worry about it?

NB: medical results are not yet updated in my portal.

Thanks in advance for your kind responses.
