Hello, a fresh graduate just relocated to Lagos in search for job and doesn't have a place of his own for now but squatting with some friends. It seems he's not that comfortable.

He saved some money from his previous job in Enugu before relocating to Lagos in search of a better job.

Presently, he's thinking of enrolling in a cyber security training and ethical hacking tracking with his savings.

He's also thinking of renting a 4bedroom duplex, then leasing out the bedrooms to house-seekers and then making money from it as a form of business while he stays in one of the bedrooms and runs his training program.

Should he get an apartment first before he gets a job or he waits until he gets a job before he rents an apartment? For now, he's squatting with some people and not really comfortable.

What do you suggest please?

Job first bro...he doesn't need comfort for now. Unless the money he has is enough pay for the rent, pay for the training he wants to embark on and still remain enough to keep him going for a longer period of time until he gets a job.
If Na just small money, make him just use am pay for the training and use de rest hold body fess...after all him friends are not complaining.

This one is difficult.

If he won't be thrown out anytime soon I will advice he remain patient till he gets the job.....But if the employer(s) can provide him with somewhere to stay for a while he should move out.

OP you should get a job first

Aside subletting without the landlord knowledge that is wrong, he should know he is likely to be subjected to police or efcc visitation if his multiple tenants are of his age group
