Hmm... Sorry about this present situation you find yourself because I can understand how difficult this could be for you at this time.

Let's leave aside the issue if weather you did due diligence or not because it won't change anything at this moment, so the first thing I want to ask you is this, I'm sure this car was a naija used b4 you picked it up for HP, right?
If that's so, I believe there is a place in the agreement where you guys provided room for engine and transmission breakdown or possibly replacement and sharing formula.

When I took a naija used on HP some years back I made my partner agreed to a 50:50 sharing formula should any repairs or replacement is needed in the first 6 months, and he signed.

So in this case if there's no where this stated then it's your responsibility to look for money to get it replaced oh no two ways about it.

Plead for time from your partner, at least 2months to raise the money and get the car in good shape before you can start paying him his money and make sure what ever time you guys finally agree on is written in black and white with both you guarantors signing to it then attached it to the original copy of the agreement.

Look for a loan of say 500k, get a good tokunbo engine and put on the car so you can go back to work.

If you don't do it like this I'm sorry to inform you your partner has every right to retrieve that car from you, fix it up and sell to recover very his money because you've already default.

It's business and it is what it is

Bolt sent me a mail with attachment of my negative balance on my account and demand I pay. They even added 0.5% daily overdue charge.
Is this how they do it because I thought they are supposed to restrict my account to card trips only.

Party people will always put the interest of the party and their personal interest before and above the greater good. That's what u r displaying now.
There is nothing like northern base or southern base, but rather let's look out for someone who can or is more likely to make a change in this country.

So the same votes Tinubu will get is d same votes Osinbajo would have gotten in the general elections. It's still APcs votes, but Osinbajo would have had an added votes of youths and people who want to give him a chance unlike a Tinubu that only Yoruba and APc people want.
So if u ask me, Osinbajo would have gathered more votes than Tinubu if given the chance.

Baseline na say the whole PVC thingy na scam. Those who actually determine what happens in politics are the people involved. The masses only go out to use their PVC to vote for someone they may not even like because the person who actually emerges, may not be the people's choice. So if you can't be involved in party politics directly, encourage the people around you who have flair for it to get their party membership card against 2027 or 2031. Omo, another 8 years! Cos it's sure, Atiku can't beat Tinubu in this game. So we all have to manage this devil � till 2031! I just hope things don't get worse than it is now. Make money flow in the economy in this coming four to eight years.

Never compare Tinubu with Buhari. Tinubu mentioned all the people he nominated for VP role in 2015. Most of the things he said during his acceptance speech were by heart. The strength is not there but I trust him to put square pegs in square holes irrespective of where you come from which is exactly what we need now.

I do not doubt he'll perform well, I just hope he doesn't repeat the bad things he did with Lagos such as putting thugs in the helm of affairs in federal level. He's a very intelligent old man with lots of experiences... Even though I didn't support him I'm coming to think he's going to be far far better than Buhari. My other problem with him is his own interest is always paramount. Maybe he'll do somethings better than he did in Lagos state Sha. Let's all hope for the best.
