@Philthomas, thanks a lot for your reply. Please see the circled rule that says amongst others "NO ONE WAY ON EGYPT AIR". What do you make of it? Can one still book one way? Looking for the cheapest flight and EgyptAir is it now.

Really? But on the EgyptAir website there are options for one-way

Good day my Canadian family I greet you all

Please I need your insight and advice on this case

My sis got admission for her MBA in the university of Canada west and she wants to go with her family of 5 three children the her husband.

All documents are ready to apply
meanwhile we dont know how best to sort her living expenses because of the dependant

Does it make any sense if all the funds required both tuition and living expenses is deposited in her account as a gift deed roughly 30m or the person should just stand as a sponsor please what's your take and those who have done family package please enlighten us more on this

And should the living expenses of the dependants for the whole of 2years be available or it's only the first year required please I need your take

She has paid her tuition deposit which is 7900 and the only money that will be reflecting in her account henceforth is the money hoping to be deposited in his account which is roughly 30m, how best did you think we can handle the handle the funds to avoid the issues of lump sum.

Thanks expecting your feedback

Not at all that's the reason I'm looking for PGD programs

1) You getting the admission is 50/50 cos the admission requirement for a PG. in Software development would require a graduate of Computer Science, Software Engineering and related field or someone who has work experience in Software Development.

2) A PG program not related to your Academic background or Work Experience is still a wrong Academic & Career Progression, cos a Visa Officer won't see a connection with your previous education and work experience in relation to Software Development, and that could raise a red flag on your Visa Application.

Based on your good CGPA, a Visa Officer will expect you to go for a Masters in a Biological science related field e.g research focus Biological Science Masters Program like Computational Biology, Biomedical Science, Cancer & Immunology etc.

Await additional response from the gurus and other members

Spouse - SOWP
2 kids - VV
Application date - 17th January 2022
BVL- 10th June 2020
PPR- 10th June 2022

The notification mail dropped all at once.
I want to say a very Big thank you to everyone for their contributions on this platform and most especially to one of the best hands in terms of writing and reviewing of SOPs @justmellow of GCMSWRITERS (check him out on IG). After he assisted my spouse with reviewing his SOP for his study application (which turned out to be successful), we contacted him again for my application and that of my kids which also turned out to be successful. He is definitely one of the best at what he does and I never doubted his advise and suggestions even for once. I’m super excited as I use this news as a point of contact to everyone waiting on their good news that God will come through for each and everyone of you in Jesus name.

Let me also add that I was completely scared about not having a travel history (asin my passport na and my children’s own na virgin passport) but God took care of it…I submitted a total of 1m Naira in my account, hubby’s account had about 10m Naira and 10k cads.

Thank you all once again and May Canada favour is all IJN Amen.

Super Congrats to you and your family

Urgent
Please who has travelled to Canada recently on a visitor visa, is it compulsory to book a return ticket? were you required to show your ticket before allowed entry at point of entry?

I would assume you come from a country that requires a visa to visit Canada. If this is the case then it is very risky to fly to Canada as a visitor on a one way ticket , because if the immigration at the airport ask you questions about why you are visiting Canada and how long you will be staying ? How do you hope to answer that question and prove it. Secondly some airlines won't even allow you to board their plane to Canada with a one way ticket as a visitor if you come from a country that needs a Visa to visit Canada. Lastly my advice to you is that it is better you buy a return ticket that is fully refundable incase you change your mind about travelling , so that when you get to Canada and decide to change your return date or stay put for reasons best known to you . You can request for a refund of the payment of your return ticket.

Asking for a friend, he is already panicking LOL

He forgot to add the stamped bio page of his passport given to him during biometrics while submitting his passport for visa stamping.
Hope no cause for alarm
He only submitted his passport, consent form, two photocopies of his bio page and that white slip

No, you can't go for masters: the 2:2 is too low.

You should go for a PGD.

If you had mentioned your course, I would have recommended universities and colleges for you.

Chocs:
Some people choose to call it LOE instead of SOP. Content is koko. Name doesn’t matter.

Yes you are right but in order to avoid confusion most especially for a refused applicant and a first time applicant (new bee), the structuring and contents of an LOE to tackle a refusal is quite different from an SOP of a first time applicant. A first time applicant might see an LOE sample meant to address a refusal and use it thereby making some errors

You have a slim chance with a 2.2 for a Masters Admission, cos the minimum requirement of most Canadian university for Masters is a 2.1.

Your best shot is a PG. Cert at a College in a Program related to your undergraduate degree (if no long study gap) or your work experience
