Justin Bieber has expressed concern over his struggle to eat after suffering temporary facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome just days after being forced to cancel performances on his Justice World Tour. He has asked fans to pray for him.

The 28-year-old pop diva revealed the diagnosis in a three-minute video on Instagram on Friday, which is a shingles complication that can result in facial paralysis.



According to the Mayo Clinic, the hearing loss and facial paralysis associated with Ramsay Hunt syndrome are temporary, but they can become permanent.

Due to a 'non-Covid related ailment,' the singer said on Tuesday that the 'next few shows' of his seven-leg, 130-date Justice World Tour will be postponed.



'It's hard for me to believe I'm saying this,' the 28-year-old pop diva, who has 539.2 million Instagram followers, said. 'I've tried everything to get better, but my condition is growing worse,' she added.

The thought that I'll have to cancel the next several performances breaks my heart (doctors orders). 'I adore you all, and I'm going to relax and recover.'

Justin demonstrated the serious consequences of his diagnosis in a video posted on Friday, revealing how his right eye wouldn't blink, he couldn't grin, and his nostril wouldn't move.

He explained, 'So this side of my face is completely paralyzed.' Those who are irritated by my cancellations of planned events should know that I am just not physically capable of doing them. This is, as you can see, a terrible scenario.

'I'm sorry if this is the case, but my body is telling me that I need to slow down, and I hope you understand.' I'm going to take advantage of this opportunity to rest and relax before returning to what I was born to do.'

According to FacialPalsy.org.uk, over 70% of people will recover almost fully if antiviral medication is given within 72 hours of the onset of symptoms, and if nerve damage is minor, recovery should take only a few weeks.

Justin went on to say that he is doing everything he can to resolve the issue, including resting, but that he has no idea how long it would take him to recover.



He exclaimed, 'I adore you guys.' Thank you for your patience with me; I promise I will improve. I'm practicing all of these facial exercises in order to return my face to normal, and it will.

'It'll only take a little while; we don't know how long it'll take, but it'll be great.' I have hope and faith in God, and I believe everything happens for a purpose. I'm not sure what it is right now, but in the meanwhile, I'm going to rest and admire you all. Peace.'

Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber's wife, was hospitalized in March due to a minor blood clot in her brain, which caused her to have stroke-like symptoms.

During her traumatic ordeal at the time, Justin was alleged to have refused to leave his 25-year-old wife's side.

What am saying is not all believe in supernatural beings (deities) and that it would be extremely difficult for you to proof their existence especially to one that has a huge knowledge of anthropology which encompasses the history of man and its social and physical environment.
