I went to my pineapple farm today, and my joy knows no bound right now. I harvested my first pineapple fruit from the farm. And it’s makes me feel so proud farming my food. I would be digging into this lovely fruit once I’m home.
SWEET POTATO-VINES are still available FOR SALE….
PINEAPPLES would soon be available for sale also.

Our vines are really picking up, and from the looks of things, I should already start marketing to farmer… I’ve also started transplanting some vines for root production. Any one interested in buying vines for the planting season can drop me a message.
Where is your location and what variety of sweet potatoes is this?

Good morning Sir,i love your tenacity, please keep it up. I'm just thinking, have you planted potatoes before,if no.Please do a thorough follow up reaseach in order to maximize the output.Potatoes can be quiet funny, during harvest. If you're not smart, you won't know where they're hidden, and you will be digging the wrong place. I know from personal experience,I also think the spacing out is too close, just my personal views though.Keep up the good work, I'm following.God bless you.

Hmm!

When we use to have potato farm. We just draw the stem to find the tuber. Bury the young tuber back after harvesting the big ones.

I haven’t gotten that figured out really, but with irrigation, you should be able to farm all year round

Good day nairalanders. Today I want to start posting progress on my new farm project. This isn't my first farm project, however I've been dealt with several blows in my farming expedition. I started out with Pineapple farming, which is still going good by the way. this should be the 15th month since I planted the pineapples. I also tried my hands on Plantain/Cassava farming, however Fulani herdsmen have been a constant headache for me on that farm during the dry season, as they burnt and ravaged that farm this January "Pictures would be posted to show the damage".

But due to the burning passion and desire I have for farming, I've decided to go ahead with another project, but this time, it would be vegetable based farming.

I intend engaging in potato vine multiplication and ugu farming. The vine multiplication would enable me have enough vines to sell to farmers for the incoming rainy season, and also give me the opportunity to plant my own sweet potatoes, without worrying about where to source for vines. Here are picture of work done so far. Wish me luck in this journey my fellow nairalanders, I would make sure to post picture of progress as we kick start the project this weekend. Thanks for viewing
So many variables go into agribusiness success. I salute the doggedness of all investors in that sector in the face of global inflation and the relentless invasion of farmslands by criminally inclined
Fula herdsmen and bandits in Nigerian states.

These are challenges we face in business as Nigerians. Hopefully our govt would find a solution to this menace.
