God bless you sir for sharing the Telegram channel "Binancewaves" which I quickly joined. I knew how much I made shorting UNFI, so I shorted FLM too and made some cool dough. I will continually be watching Binancewaves and @pumps where the call I made for a shorting ride of another call.

For newbies, this is the time to start buying.

1.Buy only btc for now. No matter the quantity. Capital preservation
2. Spread your investment. Go 30% on 24 k. As it dips, DCA. If it rises, sell at 29k. Rinse repeat. Until the economy starts picking up or when you want to take profit.
3.No sh1tcoin. No matter the temptation. Watch the market. We are in crisis, there is fear. Buy only when there is fear. Not easy but this is how to make money. Switch your mind to a robot.
4.celsuis network causing massive dip too , macro economy etc. The goal here is to accumulate btc. Every other thing is noise.
5.forget those selling books. You can get books free online.
6.donot have any mentor. Let btc be your mentor.
If you are new to crypto now and start buying, congratulations... You will be richer than those that got in last yr. Only if you focus and get it right.

Don't take this advice please
Nobody knows where BTC will bottom out....

Sideward movement.... downtrend
Consolidation..... Breaks again downtrend

That's what BTC has been doing

If your a newbie please stay out of the market

I
@bolded, if you think making it big in crypto involves using high leverages, then you are the part of the 95% teaders that will end up with a blown up trading account

I risk 1% to get 3 - 5% profit, that way any prediction that I missed wil not hurt my portfolio and if I'm consistent with my 3 - 5% profit for a long period of time, you will realise that little profit can be accumulated into a reasonable profit over a long period of time.

Compare that to someone who is willing to risk 10% of his capital to gain 60% profits.

Now if that person lose twice, that person will lose 20% of his capital where as in my case I will only lose 2% and I can easily recover the 2% if I stick to my working strategies.

In trading you protect your capital first before making profit because the market is nobody friend

Your assertions are not wrong but then how can someone using $100 use 1% stop-loss even, if the person is using 1x he will be stopped out fast.

All I know is never trade without stop-loss and your leverage should be very small.

Wait for the market to come(finish set up).

Don't jump to trade because someone drop signals DYOR.

when you make profit rest, don't trade drop your phone and do something different before you trade again.

Patience pay the bills in trading.

The reward for knowledge is money.

Always learn and unlearn.

So you really think you'll be consistent over a long period of time with your 1% strategy?

Do you realise that price fluctuations in crypto are volatile, and can easily swallow 1% and more before 'correcting' and finally going back up?

If you employ that 1% strategy, I can bet my bottom dollar that'll you make more losses than profits, simply because you will be easily whipped out of the markets.

Pick any coin of your choice and monitor it's daily price movement on the chart, and you will realise how easily 1% can be eradicated.

All the 1% talks can only happen in forex because of the lot size the use. Na why we tell them say crypto and forex no be the same thing they no go gree... Try that 1% rule on cypto and see if you go make profit

I'm not here to dispute your claims about using it to rake in profits or not!
What I just explained to you is borne out of years of trading experience as a scalper/day trader.

Scalpers on average make 3% and above, depending on the market psychology, and I must tell you, even those low figures sometimes are hard to come by, especially in a bear market, because of price volatility, which can keep a trader stuck in the market, a bit longer than anticipated if the entry isn't on point.

Again, for you to make such claims about your 1% strategy, it means you're a consistent scalper, which is the hardest form of trading.

Are you a scalper?
If you're not a scalper and still claim that you employ the 1% strategy to hodl for a day or more, I put it to you, you have no idea of what you're saying.

This is practical trading we're talking about here, not paper trading or theoretical trading where they make everything sound easy and one-dimensional.
As a scalper and day trader, I constantly adjust my market settings in response to the price movements.

Your strategy sounds so rigid and one-dimensional.
A good and experienced trader reacts to market price for more profitability when prices start moving higher than initially estimated, or less when prices fall sharply than anticipated.

My strategy is simple!
I do only spot trading.
Follow the trend, trade near support areas.
For day trading...nothing less than 5% in profit, as the worst case scenario.
For scalping...nothing less than 3%.

On risk management, I sell at a loss when price falls below the area of support I bought.
I sell when the D1 and lower timeframes have all registered red candles, and gradually spilling into D4, I know it's time to cut my loss, irrespective of the drop in percentage change which isn't always on the high side due to buying around support.

Even in this bear market, I made 10% today on some select coins that go the opposite direction in price movement from BTC.
Again, to be a successful trader, one's account must be able to cushion the market volatility when price goes against you.

Trading is deeper than meets the eyes.
It's not for everyone, cos it takes a whole lot of brainstorming and analysis to win consistently and decipher the market.
I make profit with my strategy and you make yours from your strategy
I'm conservative with my strategy and you are not
.so what's the big deal? undecided

lol, I make massive profit with my strategy as long as I'm consistent

There is no master strategy, even the one you use has sent alot of traders back to the trenches

The major way to win in trading is consistency, if you risk 4% and I risk 1%, it's still the same thing, all that matters is how you manage your risk and run your winnings.

Consistency is the key, without it you will be takeing a step forward and two steps backward

The truth is simple. Do what works for you. If you have a small acct, it will take you donkey years to grow it if you are using 1-4 percent risk. So, make your choice. Either way, you' ll need a bit of LUCK combined with your strategy to be successful

Yeah.....only on algo.
Actually I am still an amateur in futures so I only play around with 10$ at a go.
I shorted algo on binance but had to close soon.

2 things happened (1 confirmed...one speculation)

I short my self in d foot by using high leverage (20x)...so any small up rally had huge impact.(confirmed)

you made mention of deriv/ftx calculation having a little bit different calculation compared to that of binance....So i think "maybe " i should do my futures trading on either deriv/ftx instead of binance for a more favorable futures calculations (speculation...., not yet confirmed by me cuz I've not used it).

So for now, I am just observing d market whilst learning some basic T.A .

Thank you.

I honestly have not introduced new funds to my crypto portfolio - I have rather be taking profits and moving to stables.

And yes as I have repeatedly said, as long as btc hasn’t created a new ATH I remain bearish in the short term and would be waiting to fill my bag at 18k - 20k.

This will only change if we create a new ATH (I hope we do). A one day price action does not create a trend.

People have asking me when will I start buying BTC.

Like I said last year, I’ll only introduce fresh funds to this market when will hit the 2017 top (18k to 20k)

Buying at 20k is like buying at 6k in 2018, can we go lower, yes we can, we went from 6k which everyone thought was the bottom to 3k in 2018 capitulation event but we didn’t stay there for long.

So I would be buying BTC 19k and if we go 50% lower, I have no problem because I know the bounce will be quick.

If you don't have a plan when to buy, make one, NOW.

My plan - I’m waiting for BTC to go below it’s 2017 high just like ETH has done. With ETH major support broken, ETH sub1k is just a matter of time.

It depends on your needs. Do you need the 40k right now? Can you feel relaxed if that money turns to 16k or 8k? The answer to these questions will determine if you should sell or leave it.

Why is the distance so far on MT5 to make profits (tiny) and small distance pips to make losses (bigger with high leverage)...

The first time I used MT5 I regretted it (demo though). I use something different that simply do I said, when I say up/green/long and as it starts happening profits counts and the opposite losses starts. This MT5 will count loss till it beat a far distance pips, not fair to me... LoL
