Mikel Obi on why Lukaku struggled at Chelsea, when I said the Italian league was too slow people doubted me

https://twitter.com/OneJoblessBoy/status/1536047177906143232?t=5EnlQRVpR__eBamYeHNOQg&s=19

Lukaku struggled because of the Chelsea system ,that club doesn’t create chances for strikers ,wingers self Na same thing

Lukaku is a proven epl striker With more than 100 epl goals ,have more goals than drogba in the epl in lesser games .

If oshimen hopes to break the goals king record..today's game is a perfect opportunity to statpad. Ateast a hatrick wouldn't be bad...
But come to think of it guys why has nobody been able to break that record for over 15-20 years now?

Mikel doesn't seem assertive!!!!! He acts too much like an ajebo. You need some craze to be a successful coach.

Don Carlo Ancelotti says different. The man is a Teddy bear and also one of the best coaches in the world.

Some people think that coaching is by shouting up and down like a lunatic on the touchline like their idols (Pep and Klopp)

Goal per minute ratio is a flawed way of rating strikers especially when they don't play in the same league. Openda and dessers played in the same league but openda scored x2 of dessers league goals, Belgium picking dessers over him is like england picking nketiah over Kane because he has a better goal per minute ratio.

If u agree that dessers was better than openda and the others only because of goal/minute, then u have to agree that vardy was the best striker in the epl last season, or dejong was the second best striker in the laliga last season, dessers was better than haller last season grin, moussa dembele was better than mbappe last season and Ibrahimovic, Scammacha and giovanni simeone where better than Osimhen last season!

Guy why are you stressing me nah cheesy. This thing is so easy to understand. I said ACROSS ALL COMPETITIONS with a special focus on European Club Competitions performance. Did Nketiah play any European football? Why are you trying to limit it to just league performance?

Bia Nwoke, I no dey like long talk. Stop trying to prolong this thing. Find another person to argue with. grin

Paseiro seems a great Coach so far. He's not jez there to sit and collect $$$, he's actually building a Legacy for himself like Westerhof and Bonfere Joe I wish him best of Luck.

Amen

This is the kind of game we tend to win 1 - 0 with a second half goal mouth scramble and the ball bouncing off an opposition defender.

Of course I hope this post doesn't age well. We'll see..

Scoreline ain't matter, good football is all matter at the moment. So far Paseiro has proven he's loaded with football ideas.

He's not a one way traffic Coach, in fact he's better addressed as a Manager, rather than a Coach.

He's ready for the job, and he indeed loves the job. I love how we played on the Rice Farm in Abuja few Days ago. If we could play like that, then I believe we gonna get well entertained today

IMO, Yakubu could have broken that record if he wasn't kicked out of the team after the world cup... He was a prolific scorer.. After him, Iheanacho looked like he was on the right path to breaking the record, until things fell apart... I think over the years, the inability of the NFf to organize enough game for the team and the inconsistency of our players was a factor..
But as it stands, Osimhen is definitely on track to break the record.. He just been unlucky with injuries ..

Lukaku didn’t struggle, per se. He gave the wrong interview and Tuchel pulled him out of the starting lineup. You can’t score if you don’t play.

At that point, Chelsea had lost any hope of winning the league, so Tuchel didn’t really have anything to lose because he knew that he’d still make the top 4 even without Lukaku.

since Yekini no super eagles striker have been consistent for a period of 5-10 years. They either come like a flash like Agali, Martins or they choose games and play whenever they feel like e.g Yakubu
